5. The Date

I had a sort of lazy day just sitting on the internet, Skype a bit, talk to my friends and stuff. It was now 3pm so I decided to go look for a bite since I hadn't eat anything but the croissants. I grabbed my phone and went downstairs. I made myself a sandwich and then heard I got a text message.

From: Justin

I will pick you up at 6. It might be a bit cold because we will be near the sea x Justin

Right, I had to go on a date with him.. I have 2 and a half hour to get ready, hmm.

I texted my dad that I was going to do something with Justin so that I probably wouldn't eat home and he said it was okay. I took a shower. When I came out it was 4pm. Justin was coming 6pm so I had 2 hours left. I dressed myself in a simple white dress. I dried my hair. My hair was very weird when I got wet it was going to curl a bit and gets curvy but otherwise it's style. I gave some volume to the curls so I now had curvy/curly hair. I set on some music because it was so quiet and did my make-up. Just some mascara for a natural look, I am not really a make-up fan.

When I was done it already was 5.30 pm which kind of shocked me because I did so long over all of this. I went downstairs and checked my phone. Deborah had texted me and wished me lots of fun. Well.. ughh I was going to spent the evening with Justin. 'lots of fun' ...

I set on the couch and watched MTV for a while when the doorbell rang. I turned off the TV. I walked to the door and Justin was here. He hugged me. Oh well everything I wanted.. not.

I grabbed my coat and walked out. "hi love", he said studying me, "you look beautiful". "thank you, uh.. do I need to bring anything?", I asked Justin. "no, only yourself", he responded and took my hand and lead me to the car. He opened the passengers door for me and I got it. He closed the door and walked to the other side of the car and got in. he looked at me and smiled. He started the car and drove away.

We drove for like 15 minutes and I just stared out the window. Not that I would have any idea where we were going but still. Justin parked the car so I assumed we arrived. He got out of the car and opened my door, such a gentleman.. ughh. I got out and saw we were at some kind of beach. There was a little boat and a man on the boat. Justin grabbed my hand and lead me to the boat. The man said hi to Justin.

"are you afraid of water?", Justin asked me. my eyes grew wider. He didn't want me to go swim right? In the sea... a sea with fishes..

"uh.. depends on what we have to do in the water", I asked him.

"well, we'll go to this little island. near here you only have to be in the boat for 5 minutes", he said. Ohh the boat.. felt relieved and tried to get in the boat, Justin helped me. When we arrived at the island I saw some lights coming from the trees. Justin helped me out of the boat again and he grabbed my hand again. "thank you, Simon", he said as we walked away to the place where the lights came from. I saw lights hanging in the trees and they formed a path. This was so cute! It looked beautiful. There were some pink flowers leaves on the ground. On the end of the path there was a sort of room but it wasn't a room because we were outside. It was a circle of trees and plants. There was a table in the middle with two chairs and a plate with food. Justin walked me to the chair and I sat down. I looked around and saw all kind of beautiful flowers. I was speechless..

"it.. this.. it's beautiful", I said smiling. "everything for you, love", he said smiling.

Maybe he wasn't so bad because this must have took him much effort. But maybe he just brought every girl here so I don't know. Justin opened a bottle of Champaign. He looked at me asking if I wanted some so I nodded. He gave me my glass and I thanked him.
