Author’s Note: This novel was originally a journal assignment I wrote in eight grade, but I got carried away and wrote twelve pages instead of one. (I am such a dork.) But since it was arguably the best thing I had written in a long time, I decided to pursue the idea.
I know that this story is similar to Maximum Ride, but I did not copy. Yes, the main character is a girl that flies, but I don't believe James Patterson has a monopoly on winged people. I've done my best to set this story apart.
Thirdly, to all my readers, I love you. My uploading rate is... less than desirable at times, but those of you who put up with me are the freaking best. A book without readers is pointless. So even if you hate me, I have to thank you. <3

P.S. I wish I could categorize this under more than just two genres... It's definitely a sci-fi fantasy action/adventure thriller with just a sprinkle of romance later on, no? :)
