Everypony knows how the mane 6 got their cutiemarks, but what about the mane 6 back ground ponies got theirs? Well if you want to know keep reading everypony because I will be uncovering how Derpy, Bonbon, Lyra, Octavia, Dj Pon3/Vinyl Scratch,and Dr.Hooves all got their cutie marks.
Derpy:
Growing up Derpy had very busy parents. Her dad worked a full-time job as an artist, and her Mom co-owned a toy store. They both often worked overtime to make a few extra bucks. Because they were always busy Derpy stayed at home by herself alot, but she was never bored because Mom always brought her toys from the toy store. She got a diffrent toy once a month she liked a lot but she stopped playing with it after a new one came. Then in the month of July her Mom brought back something she had never seen before. It was a tube with soapy liqiud in it and a stick with holes in it taped to the side. Derpy really didn't understand what was so fun about soapy liquid and and a holey stick. She tried eating it, washing her hands with it, shaking, and pouring it, but nothing intrested her. Her mom finally saw her strugge. Then she showed Derpy how to blow a bubble , and she was fasinated. Then her Mom kissed her goodbye and headed to the toy store. Derpy got the hang of it in a snap after an hour she was blowing out shapes. She kept going blowing and blowing and blwing getting better each time. Then out of the corner of her eye she saw a flash of light from her flank. Derpy turned to look and there was an image of bubles on her flank!!
