Ch. 7 Angelina

*Angelina's POV*

I was at home waiting for Daisy to come over since it was Friday.

Today was so weird.

Keaton out of all people was my partner!

After everything in our past. Why?

My thoughts were interrupted by my mom downstairs, "Sweety? I'm going to the store real quick to get you and Daisy some snacks and do a few other things!"

"Alright mom!" I yelled back.

Daisy wasn't coming till 8 cause her and Chris were going on a date and it's barely 6:30 so I don't know what to do in the mean time.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

Did my mom forget something? Ugh! Now I have to get up to open the door!

"What did you forget this time?" I sung the door open and realized it wasn't my mom.

"Nothing?"

"Oh umm hi Keaton, what are you doing here?"

"Oh umm I just wanted to apologize"

"For what?

"For everything, you were obviously annoyed when we were picked to be partners, I realized how much You had changed and I missed out on all those years we could've been friends and I'm sorry for everything I did to you in the past, I'm sorry Cindy was rude to you and I didn't do anything about it and I'm sorry when she got arrested I made you keep quiet. I'm sorry for all the stupid mistakes I made because you were an awesome friend. You were always there and even when she was arrested you kept quiet even though we weren't friends anymore, you always stood by me and I never noticed that. I don't know if we can be friends again but I just want to apologize and I wish we can start all over because you seem to be only true friend and I feel like such a dick cause I never realized that until now."

By that time we were both in tears.

"I forgive you Keaton, but it will take a while to gain back my trust"

"Thank you Angelina" he got closer and gave me a hug, and I hugged back tightly.

My friend was back ...

After our hug I guided us to the table and chairs on my porch

I brought out some tea and crackers and we chatted about life.

He told me all about being on x-factor and how intense the weeks were there.

And I filled him in on what happened in the town while he was gone.

By the time we knew it it was almost 8.

"Woah! It's almost 8!" I looked at my phone.

"I better get going before people think I'm up to something" he joked.

I missed his lame jokes.

"See on Monday Angelina" he hugged me and walked away.

"Bye Keaton" I waved until he was out of sight.

"Why was he here?" Someone sneaked up on me.

"Ahhhhh!" I turned around and hit them. "God dam it Daisy! Don't do that!"

"Sorry" she hysterically laughed. "So why was he here?"

"Oh I have a story to tell you"

Sorry I didn't update in a month .... I feel so bad.

I'm currently trying to catch up with my other book so yeah but here y'all go.
