Ch. 12

Hazel's POV
I woke up super early this morning so I can get started on the room. It's 6:00 am. I usually don't wake up this early unless I have a reason. I look in my closet to find a shirt that I don't really care about and some pants. I found what I needed and changed making sure I didn't wake gray up. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth, washed my face, and put my hair until a high ponytail so it's out of my face. Once everything is finished I walk out of our bedroom and into the kids room to get started. There wasn't a lot of things in the room. Grayson seemed to have moved the bed already into the guest room that just has the pullout couch. So there is just a few things that I can move with no problem at all. Once I get everything moved out of the room I go into the bag and grab the pink paint since I'm doing the girl side and Grayson is doing the boy side. I walk downstairs to go grab some paint brushes knowing that I didn't need to buy any because I love painting. I looked for the right size and once I found it I walked back upstairs. I opened the can of paint and got to it.
  AFTER PAINTING HALF OF
          THE ROOM PINK
H- "All done. Now I have to let it dry."
I put the paint brush down and closed the paint can and walked out of the room. I checked on Grayson to see that he is still sleeping. I shrugged it off and walked downstairs to get some watermelon. I grab my bowl and put some watermelon slices in it. I walk over to the living room and turn on the tv. I browsed the channels to see if something was on. I see that spongebob is on so I clicked on it. I love spongebob so much. As I eat my watermelon and watch tv, I hear a someone yawn and walk downstairs. I turn my head to see that Grayson is finally awake.
H- "Good morning"
G- "Good morning princess. Why weren't you next to me? It's hard for me to sleep knowing you're not there."
H- "Aw. Sorry. I was painting half of the room pink."
G- "Oh really. Cool. I'll get started on the other side in a little bit. I'm just gonna eat first."
H- "Do you want me to make something? Or are you just going to find something?"
G- "I'm probably going to get some watermelon."
H- "Ok." I turned my head back over facing the tv. I finished my watermelon. I got up and walked over to the kitchen so I can out my dish in the dishwasher cause I didn't feel like washing dishing. Grayson's back was facing me so I walked over to him and put my arms around his neck and started pecking at his cheek. He started to laugh. I took my arms off of him and walked back over to the couch. I put my hands on my stomach and started to gently rub my stomach. I felt a little pain in my stomach so I stopped. I looked at my stomach to see 2 pairs of hands on my stomach. I gasped.
H- "GRAYSON!" I slightly yelled.
G- "WHAT IS WRONG??"
H- "COME HERE HURRY!!" I grabbed my phone and started recording on snapchat. Grayson came over and asked what's wrong.
H- "Look at my stomach."
G- "Oh my gosh!" he started to tear up.
H- "No no baby don't cry."
G- "Sorry I can't help it" I recorded another video and in this video you can see their feet too. Before I posted it on my story I saved it and then put on my story. I go onto Twitter and tweet the video tagging Grayson in it. Then i posted the video on Instagram and tagged Grayson as well. I already knew I was going to get hate but I don't really care at all.
G- "That was so cool."
H- "I know right. I can't wait to see them. Only 4 more months."
G- "That's so far away."
H- "I know I know but it will be over soon.
G- "Ok. I'm going to go paint the other half of the room now. I'll be back down in a little bit so we can cuddle."
H- "Ok." Grayson walks upstairs. I'm getting a lot of notifications on Twitter and Instagram. I'm reading the comments and they are all nice ones except there are a few hate ones but those don't mean a thing to me. While reading the comments, I started smiling. After a while, Grayson comes back downstairs. I scoot up a little so Grayson can lay down. I then lay ontop of him still watching tv. Grayson gets a hold of my hand and starts rubbing my thumb. *RING RING RING* I grab my phone to see that my mom is calling me.
H- "Hey mom."
M- "Hi beautiful. I saw the video that you posted on Instagram. That's amazing!"
H- "haha yeah. How are you?"
M- "I'm doing just fine. How are you sweetheart?"
H- "Good. Can I ask you something?"
M- "Go right ahead."
H- "Gray and I want to have a baby shower and since you're good at planning those things, can you help us out?"
M- "Of course I will. Today I'm busy so we can start planning tomorrow. If that's fine with you."
H- "That's fine with me. Thank you so much. Talk to you later. Love you."
M- "Anytime. Love you too sweetheart." I was so tired so I started to close my eyes and before I know it, I'm sleeping. After hours of sleep, I wake up. I see that Grayson went to sleep too. I decided to go check on Ivy's side of the room and see if the paint dried where I need it to be dry. I walk upstairs and enter the room. I put my hand on the spot where I need to put the letters and it's completely dry. Grayson is a really heavy sleeper so if I close the door he won't hear what's going on. I close the door and pull out all the letters on Ivy's name. I decided on doing her full name. I gathered all the letters and grabbed an electric screwdriver and start putting the letters of her name on her side of the wall. After I put the letters up, it looks amazing. The letters also light up. I got that for both of the kids.
H- "Time for the carpet." I roll out the pink carpet and started to put the carpet down. Once I put the carpet down on her side, it cut the room in half to it's even. Thank god! Ivy's side is finished for now. I walk into my bedroom to take a shower because I'm sweaty.
         AFTER SHOWER
I get out of the shower and dry myself off. I put my robe on and wrap a towel around my hair. I sit down on the bed. Turned the tv on and just relaxed for the rest of the day.
