"Wait a second, let's not get ahead of ourselves," I warn L.W.

He frowns at me and says "I thought you wanted to find your brother. I guess not."

I give him a dirty look and reply "Of course I want to find my brother, you idiot. We just can't assume that someone took him there. What if he's still around the cabin?"

"If he was here he would've came back to the cabin by now," he says. L.W stands upright over the lifeless body. He's right. Jonas would never go somewhere without me.

"Why do you want to help me?" I suddenly ask. He stares back at me with a blank expression, obviously confused. "You don't even know me or my brother," I continue.

His expression hardens "You helped me," he answers. He reaches down for his white shirt and lifts it up. He points a finger at his stomach. Even though it still looks bad, the wound is now beginning to heal. "I would be dead if it wasn't for you," he admits. His face begins to turn a shade of crimson and he opens his mouth. Before he can say anything I nod. An eerie silence envelops the house for minutes as we are both left to our own thoughts.

"So, are you just gonna stand there, or help me?" he blurts out, breaking the invisible barrier of silence.

"With what?"

"This," he says while nodding his head and pointing his eyes towards the limp body laying on the kitchen floor.

"I'll take his legs," I say. He silently nods and we pick up our assigned body parts in unison.

"Where should we leave him?" He asks as we exit the house.

"Over there," I nod my head towards a small pond adjacent to the creek. After a couple of minutes my arms give out and we have to stop for a gradual rest. We reach the pond and place the body near a large row of green-colored cherry bushes.

"So, how do you suppose we get to this Dyckman road?" L.W asks as we begin to climb the hill up towards the house.

A grin spreads across my face and I say "Just wait." He wears a look of confusion, but doesn't say anything. Thank god dad kept it.

When we reach the cabin, I lead the way through the house. I walk towards the countertop and pick up the set of silver keys. Instead of turning left towards the hallway, we turn right. He follows me closely, until we reach the end of this hallway. I put the keys in and twist the rusty doorknob. It opens with a satisfying click, and reveals a new area of the house. Light shines through the crevices and windows, into the room. A dirty and once-white bed sheet covers a massive object located within the middle of the room. Dust is piled upon it like an anthill. I slowly approach the object and grab the stained bed sheet with two hands. I pull the sheet off as hard as I can, revealing the object. Dust particles fly all over the room like a tornado. Once the particles settle, the object is in clear view. I look behind me to see L.W with playing his mouth wide open and his eyes lit up. The sight is mesmerizing and holds his full attention.

"You know how to drive?" I ask with a grin spread across my face.
