Death – the mission seems to be passed to someone else. I tried to ask Eric about it since he is the only angel who knows about it the most. He told me that base from his knowledge, it wasn't a task that was given, it is something that is highly volunteered by the angel who'd like to do it. Most of the former angels who handled the position were those who'd like to explore the world beneath the clouds – curiosity, this is the main element that drives them to get the job since it gives them the privilege to dwell with humans as mortals.
Abandoning the position requires a huge sacrifice and that means deleting all of his earthly memories once they come back to heaven again. The angel will no longer be allowed to set foot on earth as long as he lives and that means for eternity. No matter how much he wanted to, his wings will be taken away from him once he tries to jump off by himself.
It looks like a fresh start for all of us. I don't know what really happened but it seems Dongwan's last words affirmed that he doesn't want to be alone again. He constantly claims that he was our homeroom teacher. He nags Eric to go away whenever he drops by to visit me and Junjin. He looks happier with his cheekbones sticking up high. I like it this way – this time, I get to see him again with no boundaries setting us apart.
Now it is my second chance.
