Reign's POV

I was knocked out sleep on my living room couch cuddled up with J.r , when my phone started ringing. I got up to get my phone, who tf is calling me at 5 something in the morning? I looked at my phone screen and it was Nique calling.

"girl it is 5 something in the morning...." before I could finish she cut me off

"i know, momma cay is in the hospital you need to get down here fast" when Nique said that my mother was in the hospital ,my heart started pounding and my head started spinning . If something was to happen to my mother I don't know what I would do. "okay, send me the information...I'm on my way" I hung up the phone and started crying. "Babe...why you crying"? I wasn't trying to explain to him as to why I was crying. I had to get to the hospital as fast as possible. I went upstairs, J.r was on my heels following behind my every step.

I put on some clothes and tied my hair up in a bun. "so u just gone ignore me"? He grabbed me by my arm ,I tried pulling away from him but his hold on my arm only gotten stronger. "ouch J.r your hurting me"! his eyes softened and he let go of my arm. "whats wrong"? He asked me while he started putting his clothes on. "my mom is in the hospital," I broke down in tears, I don't know what I would do if something was to happen to my mom . He looked at me with sad eyes and pulled me into a tight hug. I cried in his arms for about 20 minutes then he carried me to the car. I told him where to go and he drove to the hospital.

At the hospital

We have been in the hospital sitting down waiting for someone to come out and tell us what was going on. Most of my family was here including Nique and Tristan. Nique was crying and her eyes looked red and puffy. I knew I had to be strong for my mother so I haven't really been crying as much. I looked up and seen a doctor in blue scrubs walking towards us. He looked like he could be in his late forty's. "Is this the family of Catherine Harrison"? everyone stood u and I walked towards him. "Okay, it seems that she has had a blockage in her arteries , so we will need to have surgery in a coule of weeks...she came in because she says that she has been having chest pains "He wrote down something on his clipboard, it took me a minute to take every thing he was saying in.

"so is she going to be okay" I asked, that was all I want to hear." yes, well have to run a few tests on her, and she will be able to leave in a couple of days" I nodded my head as he talked and everyone around me sighed in relief. "you guys may go in there to see, her but no more than 3 people at a time, her room number is 217-01 " .

"okay thanks doctor-r....." I stretched out the word doctor "doctor, laviene" he gave a slight smiled and walked off. J.r , Nique and I were the first three to go see my mom. When I walked in the room, I seen her laying in the hospital bed with a bunch of machines and plugs surrounding her.  We walked in the room and I walked closer to her bed. The sight of her laying in a bed looking like this made me feel bad. "hay mom" her eyes fluttered open and she looked tired. "hay baby, I see you brung that fine boy of yours" she said joking , she looked over at J.r and Nique. "hay momma Cay" thye both said at the same time."how yuh feeling "? I asked her. She looked back at me and smiled

"I'm fine baby, just been having chest pains that's all". A tear rolled down my cheek ,"don't cry baby, momma gone be alright , I'm strong yuh momma gone make it through this" I smiled, I felt relieved , and I was more than happy to hear her voice.

J.r's POV

After I dropped Reign and Nique off at her house , Tristan and I headed straight to practice. Coach made us practice on our shooting and dribbling. After 20 minutes of constant shots more of our teammates came. "my niiiggaa" I shook Lebron's hand. He had brung his three kids with him, "wussup lil man" we did our lil hand shake and the kids went to go play. "when u gone have some kids"?Lebron asked me, "i don't know man, but I'm really feeling this one girl...like I wanna settle down and make some babies" he looked at me like I was crazy. "you sure you ready for all that"? he asked me. "I'm mean....yeah" we both laughed and started playing basketball. Even though the series is over with we still have to practice , it never ends.
