You laid in the clearing, letting the sun gently dapple your fur, warming it up. You could here the clamour of your clan mates as they worked harder then usual.

Riverclan had recently declared a battle on your clan after the little scuffle. It made your fur prickle in annoyance you wouldn't be leading a battle patrol to one of the ambush places.

Seeing as they did take the life of your sister. You stood and stomped to the leaders den. Not bothering to make your presence known with a formal mew, you walked right into the dark den.

"Blackstar!" you hissed, "Why can I not lead a battle patrol! It would only be fair! To avenge my sister for what they did!"

He looked up at you shocked but it returned to a look of understanding.

"You are not strong enough, your letting your emotions get the best of you." he mewed calmly.

Your fur raised along your spine.

"Are you saying I'm weak?! If anything my emotions should make me fight stronger and better!" you hissed, swiping your tail wildly

"Y/n." he said, his temper running shorter

"Why can't you understand! I could help greatly!"

"Watch your tone y/n, I'm not a kit in need of your defending-"

"Well I may not have your rank, or your authority but if you would-"

"No y/n" he hissed

"Just give me a battle patrol and I can win for my sister!"

"Or you will die and we need you alive!" he growled

"I don't care I would gladly die if I can take the cat that murdered my sister with me!"

"Your sister would want you alive you have a future!"

"JUST SHUT UP!"

"You will not fight. Thats an order."

You realized your mistake and flattened your ears.
How can I avenge my sister if I can't fight?

".... But Blackstar-"

"You won't fight."

You huffed and ran out of the den and into the forest. The sound of crickets and frogs blowing off your steam. You walked and when you looked up you realized your legs carried you to the abandoned two-leg nests.

You laid down and flicked your tail in irritation.

"Huh. Didn't expect to see you back here so soon." chimed a familiar voice.

You raised your head and stared at the tom cat that sat not far m away from you.

"I just needed a place to get away from my clan. You even said it your self, cats barely come over here." you muttered

"I did say that didn't I?"

You closed your eyes and listened to the chirps of all kinds of creatures as they lulled your soul into a calm state. You were thankful Sol stayed quiet instead of ruining your peace with his endless jibber jabber.

Once you had calmed down a fair amount you opened your eyes again and looked in the place Sol should be. He was licking his fore paw, clean of the dirt that was there.

You sighed and rolled on your back, looking up at the sky as it turned from a orangish tan to a greyish blue, dull stars starting to appear.

"I could sense you were mad. I was afraid for a moment if I got any closer to you I would burn for sure." he purred jokingly.

You grinned, not removing your gaze from the changing sky. You heard him get up and walk over to you, laying down next to you, and start watching the sky.

"I don't get it. Whats so interesting about the sky?"

You giggled lightly.

"Because, it's pretty and you can watch it for years but it never changes." you replied

"Well. Sun rises and sun sets change. They are never the same color more then twice a moon. They can be red, orange, blue, grey, pink, yellow, cream, tan-"

"I get the point."

You yawned a d sat up as the moon rose into the night sky. You walked over to a cluster of ferns and crawled under. Sol following close behind.

"What are you doing?" he asked

"I'm not returning to camp until morning. I'll just get upset again."
You mewed as you laid down on soft grass, curling up and closing your eyes.

You heard rustling and felt a warm pelt next to you. You ignored it and fell asleep.
