I was half awake when the final bell rang. I jumped out of my seat ad grabbed my bag, swinging it over my shoulder. Taking my phone out of my back pocket I checked to see if I had a missed call, or even a text. Nothing. I let out a sigh and went to Ivy Anne’s locker.

“Hey,” She said smiling.

I nodded, letting my hair fall in my face.

“Smile, he’ll be home soon.” She tried to reassure me, knowing exactly why I was so upset.

“But he’d at lest text me or call. Yeah know like a hey babe, insert smileyface, I’m back.”

“Don’t except him to immediately text or call you. He just got off tour and is most likely sleeping. Or… he may jut be ignoring you.”

“Ivy!”

“I’m kidding.” She quickly defended herself.

“I know, but still!”

She kind of half smiled and closed her locker. “We still on for tomorrow?” She asked.

“Yeah, totally. Just let me go home drop all this crap off. Before hand.” I turned around and put my earbuds in, ready for the walk home. I drive, but can we just be logical? I live like what half a mile, maybe less from the school, why would I waste gas to drive when I have perfectly good legs. I walked towards the front of the school and walked through the teacher parking lot, waving at my AP World teacher. The walk to my neighborhood, Ridgewood Oaks, wasn’t long, probably five minutes. I saw the side of the Sierota’s house slowly become visible. If Graham wasn’t going to text me when he would be back I guess I would have to find out through his parents. I took an ear bud out as I got closer, then walking up to their doorstep. I took a deep breath and let it out. I knocked on the door lightly and waited. Muffled footsteps got closer and the locks turned and twisted. The opened just enough for a head to fit through and by surprise, Noah’s head popped out. “Hey, you’re back!” I said surprised.

“Yeah, just got back late last night,” He let out a yawn.

“Oh! Is Graham here?” God, that must have been a stupid question.

“He’s in his room, just go on up.” He opened the door more so my bag and I could fit through.

I was about to start up the stairs when he stopped me. “Warning he may be sleeping.” I nodded and continued up. His room was further towards the back, two down from Sydney’s, next to Jamie’s and across from Noah, who is next to their parents. I’ve been to their house way too many times. I’ve been friends with them for about five, six, years and I’ve probably spent the night about 5 times a year, maybe more. Mostly I’ve been over more in the past two years than I have any other time. Walking down the hallway, Sydney’s door was opened some and Jamie’s was close. When I got to Graham’s I tried to open it as quietly as possible, incase he was sleeping. Which not much to my surprise he was. I closed the door some and sat on the floor close to his bed. He looked so adorable, I mean he always does, but lets be honest, he’s like an angle sleeping. I took my Algebra textbook out of my bag and started. I wasn’t there long when the door creep opened more. I was just about to finish the second to last one when a female voice said, “Graham?” I stayed quiet waiting to see who would walk through the door. Sydney walked in and saw me on the floor. She smiled than gave me a sad smile. “I as awake. My door was even open you could have came right in.”

“Syd, its okay, I wanted to be in here incase Graham woke up.”

She nodded. “You staying for dinner?”

Did I mention I eat here a lot too?

“Nah, most likely not. Don’t wanna intrude, you guys need some family time.”
