It's late April 2012 as the sun sets I called it a night. "Hey it's getting late let's head to the guest house." "That sounds like a good idea." says the freezing cold Sky. "I second that!" says Torey as she wraps her jacket tighter around herself. From there we walked to the guest house, I unlocked the door and we entered. "Does anyone have food?" Britt said as she jumped on the couch. "Of course Big Britt would be asking about food." "Who's there?" I scream. "Calm down Kenz. It's just me." said Catherine Watters as she came out from behind front door. "Why do you have to do that?" asked a terrified Britt. "My name is Kenzie not Kenz!" I hate when she calls me Kenz. "Because it's fun." says Cat. She then looks at me then to Brittney.
Catherine Watters is our bitch of a leader. She is 15 years old and thinks that she is the boss of everyone. When I first moved next door 3 years ago she automatically made Sky and I members of her group, but hey that's how we met Torey and Brittney.
"And sorry Kenz, but that is who you are. Kenz, Sky the guy, Big Britt, and not so straight Torey." She looked at us as she said our names. "What do you mean by "not so straight Torey?'" Torey said as she sat down in the chair. "Oh nothing. I brought you all a little present." Cat avoided the question as she got up to grab something. "What is it?" Sky beat me to the question. All of a sudden Cat turned around with a red solo cup. "Is that what I think it is?" I jumped out of my chair and grabbed the cup. "You tell me she said as she sat down next to Torey with that devilish smile. After an hour of drinking we all passed out.
The sun peeked through the window the next morning and straight into my eyes. I groan as I start to wake up. After a minute or so I sat up and I woke Sky up. I just barely stood up and looked around the room when I noticed Cat wasn't there. "Hey, where is Cat?" I turned to Sky and that is when I heard a familiar voice. "She isn't here." The voice said. I turned to see a worried look on Britt's face. "What do you mean she's not here? She has to be here!" I freak out and start searching the house. "Kenzie she isn't here." Sky says as she grabs my arm. "We searched the whole house." She finished. At once we all moved outside. We spent hours looking for her. Finally as an uneasy feeling started to sink in my stomach I told my mother, Candice. "Mom?" As the four of us entered the actual house thought the sliding glass door. What is it girls?" She looked up at us as she finished pouring her coffee. "Catherine is missing." I was staring at my shoes while I said it. "What do you mean she's missing, McKenzie Leann?" My mom looked at me with anger in her eyes. "She means that when we woke up Cat wasn't there. We've been looking for her since then." Sky grabbed my arm as she told my mom what happened. "And you didn't find her?" My mom said as she took a few steps towards us. At that moment all of us girls at once said no. My mom then looked at us and said keep looking. We searched all day for her. By the time it got dark my mom already sent the girls home and had me in my room. I barely slept at all that night.
The next day we got to together at my house and waited for my mom to tell us the news. "Did you find her Mrs. West?" Britt said looking as nervous as could be. "No. Mrs. Watters filed a missing person's report this morning. If I find anything out I will inform you girls." After a few months with no word we got worried. The end of the school year came fast and that was the last time I talked to any of the girls. Our parents thought that it would be a good idea to separate us. Britt, Torey, and I said in Rosewood, but we weren't allowed to talk. Sky and her little brother Mason, had to move to England with their mom. Our group was officially over... or at least we thought it was.
