A note to anyone has read this before i make a tinyyyyyyy change in Kathy's character: i am SO SORRY that i even have to put this kind of note up.... Because of my bad planning and thoughtless mistake of not really planning at all....... -_- sorry..... i have to make a tinnnnnyyyy change in her character. Shes still the same..... but shes not going to be as op as before. I realised that i have to make her as realistic as possible, considering she lives in the real world, while still tweaking in the fantasy features of this world. So... without further ado. Here's the story.
Oh and, people, TALK TO ME. LET ME HERE YOUR FRUSTERATIONS OF THE WEIRD CHARACTERS THAT I MAKE. GO AND TYPE THEM. Honestly, just drop in a hi or something , :'( im lonely.Kathy's POV

I am so done.
My dad had been going on for what felt like hours now. And honestly, i didn't find it so pleasant. He's been rambling on about news for approximately 5 minutes and 48 seconds.
I ran a hand through my light brown, waist-long hair, combing it absentmindedly, while tuning my dad out. His voice stopped.
OH THANK GOD! HE STOPPED! IT'S OV-
His voice began again.
Why?.......Why me?
I gave him an extra loud groan, this was to be like the 20th one I made since he started talking. He acknowledged my groan with a roll of his eyes.
Feeling my glasses slip from their place atop my nose, I adjusted them. Even my legs were growing numb from the lack of movement. My legs and feet feel spiky...
"Marriage....." he said.
Upon hearing that one word, my eyes immediately snapped to his eyes. I scowled at him with everything I had. Which wasn't much, I had a baby face after all. Curse my baby face! I'm 22 for goodness sake!
"Marriage?" I finally spoke.
He smiled smugly at me, enjoying the displeasure spelled across my face, "Yes, Kathy. To be precise, a Marriage Interview."
"No." I stated.
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"You can't! It's against the rules!" I burrowed my brows at him. He promised!
"I can. I'm your father and I make the rules." He said, unfazed as he sipped his tea.
"And i'm in love with someone else! That's what we agreed to, did we not?" I huffed, crossing my hands over my chest. I can't believe him! Does he plan to break the promise? Hah! Good thing I had it recorded.
"My dear," he sighed, and in a sarcastic voice, he continued, "I don't even know who this person is."
"You don't need too know!" I yelled.
"Now tell me then, how do I know that this person isn't a human? Do I need to investigate this?" he lifted his eyebrow suspecting-ly. I stiffened at his response.
"NO! You promised you would stop doing that!" I yelled back at him. He personally hired a detective for anyone whom I even looked at, with anything other than friendliness. I got him to stop after I teamed up with my mom and dug out his deepest, darkest secrets and threatened to leak it to the gossip column in popular magazines and TV shows. Did you know, that in highschool, the all mighty 51℅ share holder of Dewdrop, Chris Sullivan, went to prom with his m- oops I'm not suppose to say am I? I stifled a laugh which earned me a weird look from my dad.
