Everything worked out perfectly.
The air caught by Harry's spread wings kept him from hitting thhe floor, and instead he landed gracefully on his feet on the stage.
The second he toucched down, the lights went out and he was taken back stage for the end of the night announcement.
His clothes were changed into something he would have worn before Louis; black skinnies with leather knee pads, his old, worn out brown boots, a for fitting white button up, and a navy blue blazer with his old aeroplane necklace.
The other singers, including Cher, took their seats in the front row, leaving the stage for him alone.
He walked out onto the stage, the heels of his boots clicking loudly in the silenced room.
He could swear on his life that if you dropped a pin in this room of hormonal teens, you would hear its echo loud and clear.
He reached the center of the stage and stared out at the sea of faces, his eyes almost gravitating to Louis, who sat beside a pissed off Cher, who was constantly shooting him daggers, making him squirm uncomfortably in his seat.
He gripped the mic tightly in his sweaty palms, speaking directly to Louis, because he learned that whenever his old inseurities slither in, he should focus solely on the small, blue eyes boy, "So. By now the whole fandom probably knows why I left. I know some of you are upset, and that's okay. I'm upset with myself. I had no right to do what I did, and I am extremely sorry."
The curly haired lad pursed his lips for a second, before powering through the rest of the speech, "I'd like to make an announcement. Considering the current... situtation... this will most likely come as a shock to you but..."
He blinked and stared Louis right in the eye, "I'm rejoining One Direction."
Silence.
Thats it!
