Dreaming of Her (Maddie and Gino fanfic)

Chapter 4/ The Jelly

        Gino's POV
             Yesterday was the best day ever. I went on a date with Maddie my crush that I've had for a long time. Today is Monday, so you know what that means. SCHOOL. *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* "uhhggggg, why do we have these stupid machines!" I said while hitting my alarm clock 50 times. "GINO! ARE YOU COMING OR NOT YOUR GOING TO BE LATE." My dad screamed. "Ya dad I'll be right down" I said back to him. I went in my closet and picked out red shorts with a belt and a t-shirt, with my sperry shoes.
         I walk downstairs got a granola bar and ran to the car. After 5 minutes or something like that. "Bye dad" I said hoping out of the car and running to the school. I get to my locker and guess who is next to it. Kalani, she has had a crush on me for a while now and it's gotten kinda out of hand. She's been coming to my locker almost everyday with her pop star friends. Chloe, Paige, and Kalani. The popular girls in the school. "Hey Gino, what you been up to?" Kalani said in a flirty tone. "Just been hanging out." I said trying to get out of the conversation. "Same, well maybe we can hang out together sometime" she said. "Ohm I...." Paused and looked at Maddie and wanted to go talk to her. "I can't tonight have slot of makeup work I have to do tonight." I said lying. I ran over to Maddie and covered her eyes. "Guess who" I said
        
          Maddie's POV.
                "Guess who" I heard and my eyes covered "I'm guessing Morgan Freeman" I said sarcastically. "He lifted his hands of my eyes and looked at me. "Wow we really need to work on your guessing skills" he said and I just shook my head and went back to looking thro my locker. "So I really enjoyed going on that date last night." He said which made me blush. "I did to" I said. "Maybe we can hang out AGIAN tonight if that's ok." He said "ya I'll like that a lot." I said. "So you wanna come to my house around 6:00" he said. "Ya sure, I'll be there at 6:00" I said. "Hey what's wrong you seem a little shaken up" he said worry full. "I just saw you and Kalani and I know that she likes you and....." I got interrupted by him grabbing my shoulders and saying "Maddie listen to me. I love you I ALWAS had and nothing. Not even Kalani will change that." He said placing his lips on mine. It felt like they perfectly connected with mine. "Thanks Gino that made me feel a lot better" I said "Any time, now let's go to class don't want to be late" he said putting his arm around my shoulder. I looked back and saw Kalani giving me the stink eye and I just looks back and kept on going.
