The letter is for a court date and it's very blunt telling him he could go to jail (Tamia)
Eric : *walk around* It was a dumbass fight I got into.... We had the party at my house and the bull was a friend of Murdoch he tried to steal some of my stuff out my room he was supposed to be going to the bathroom but he was in my room. When Murdoch went to the back he caught him then told me and that's when everything happened
Tamia : I see why you did it but it's not right then it is at same time
Eric : Baby I'm going to get locked up

Eric could be going to jail for assault. I understand why they would want to take him to court but if your son gets into a fight he get into a fight.. (Tamia)
