Chapter 4 - Making Up

Chapter 4

3rd person:

While Marcus it trying to fall asleep, Britt is crying herself to sleep.

When Britt finally feel asleep, Marcus' still trying. Eventually Marcus gives up, he steps out of his bed and walks to the common room. He waves his wand at the fire place and a flame starts to form. He sits down in front of the fire and thinks about how much he screwed up.

Marcus' finally done with thinking about things he screwed up, so he grabs a paper from his room and fills in the positions from Quidditch. He will announce it when it's breakfast in the Great Hall.

Britt opens her eyes to be met by Evy's eyes. She groans and says “what?” Evy smirks and says “wakey wakey.” Britt rolls her eyes and gets out of her bed. She waves her wand and she has her clothes on (on side). She puts her make-up in a bag and asks Evy if she's ready to go. Evy nods and

the two girls leave their room. When they arrive in the common room, Evy nudges Britt with her shoulder. Britt looks back at Evy and Evy points to the couch. Britt frowns and walks around the couch, when she looks down she sees Marcus laying there. He's sleeping there peacefully and Britt mentally awes, before she remembers what he did to her. Her expression hardens and she pulls Evy with her.

She takes Evy with her to the girls bathroom on the second floor. She lays the bag on the counter and turns around to Evy. Evy raises her eyebrow when Britt looks at her. Britt smirks and says “time for revenge. He shouldn't have messed with the Slytherin Queen.” Evy smirks and says “hell yeah.”

Britt quickly puts on her make-up. She pulls her skirt a little bit up and she loosens up some buttons on her uniform. She ruffles her hair and rubs some lip-gloss on her lips. Evy looks shocked at her, because Britt was always against make-up. When Britt's done she turns around and says to Evy “do I look like a slut?” Evy nods and Britt chuckles “good. Let's hope that I can be seductive.” Evy smirks, finally understanding Britt's plan.

Together they walk back to the common room. When they arrive at the common room, they see that Marcus has already woken up and got dressed. Britt smirks at him and Marcus frowns. She walks to him and places her hand on his chest “am I on the Quidditch Team?” Marcus raises his left eyebrow and stutters “you'll fi-find ou-out.” Britt nods and steps back. She smiles smug at him and sits down next to Evy.

Evy was admires Britt, because she wouldn't do such thing. Britt whispers in her ear “he shouldn't mess with a Slytherin.” Evy nods, agreeing with Britt.

Marcus is still standing there frozen. He could still feel her hand on his chest. She looks so hot. He sits down and stares at Britt. Why did she change? That's the thing that circles around in his mind. He sees Britt looking at him, she winks at him and then looks away. Marcus frowns at her wink. Suddenly his friend and beater, Peregrine Derrick comes walking in. He says to Marcus “hey mate. Hold on is that Britney?” admiring Britt looks. Marcus – feeling jealous – elbows Peregrine in his stomach. Peregrine grunts and turns to him and sits next to him. They talk for a long time.

Suddenly it's time for breakfast. Every Slytherin walks out of the common room and walk together to the Great Hall. Marcus walks to Severus Snape and asks him “can I have a moment to announce the positions?” Snape nods and Marcus walks to the table and steps on it. He yells: “attention. I have the positions.” and then he says all the positions:

Captain: Marcus Flint.

Keeper: Britney Delorenttoz

Chaser: Marcus Flint

Chaser: Evelyn Winters

Chaser: Terrence Higgs

Beater: Gregory Goyle

Beater: Vincent Crabbe

Seeker: Draco Malfoy

Reserve:Miles Bletchley

Britt and Evy squeal when they hear their names. They hug each other and giggle. Suddenly there appears food on their plates. They all start eating and soon it's time to go to their classes.

Marcus was just walking to his next class, when suddenly he gets pulled back by an unknown person. The person turns around and he sees Britt. She smiles at him and says “thank you for putting Evy and me into the team.” Marcus nods and says “you girls deserve it, you were kinda good. Hey, about what I said... I didn't mean it. I was just making up excuses... because I'm starting to like you.” Britt smiles and says “I like you too. I had this plan that I would get revenge, but I can't pull it off. I like you way too much.”

Marcus chuckled and pulls her closer. Suddenly Marcus changes his mind and says “we can't let anyone know. I'm too popular to be taken. I don't wanna ruin my rep.” Britt scoffs and pulls away from his “whatever Marcus. I'm not gonna be someone's secret.” Marcus sighs and says “please. I just wanna see if we can survive on our own, without anyone knowing. We will tell people later on.” Britt sighs and says “fine, but not for long. We will have to tell them soon.”

Marcus smiles at her and says “okay, thank you love. I won't disappoint you...” Britt giggles and they quickly walk to their classes, hoping on no detention.
