Thana looked around, and saw that a pot, had been leaned against the wall of the hut. She flew at once to the pot, and looked down. The pot was half full of water, yet she wouldn't be able to drink water from it. She looked at her reflection in the water, and saw her father. Do not give up now, Thana, or else I would've died for nothing, he said. She looked up to the skies, and asked god, Oh lord of the heavens! You say that all your creation are equal under your eyes. And that we will all travel to the same place after we leave this world. Then why, have you bestowed upon each, different levels of sufferings? I look around and see those children, who are playing even in this hot weather, their parents still alive, their faces still happy. And then I see the squirrel gathering nuts to take home to it's family, but I, lost my father before I even learned the ways of the world. Why is it that the pot is always half full for me? She had let out all her heart's sadness, and turned around, when the sky began to darken.
