EXO One Shots

Xiumin

'I'll meet you there, okay?' 

Your boyfriend had said.

However, you currently waited outside your apartment, bundled up in a thick coat with its fur lined hood brushing against the cold skin on your face.

He was 10 minutes late and just a few minutes ago, it started to snow.

Not your gentle flurry of magical snowflakes ; a pour down to where it's almost impossible to see your own feet.

Sighing, you pulled your hood over your head further and squatted down against the fence of the building, tucking your knees into your chest.

"Ahhh s-so cold... Xiumin where are you..?" You pouted and watched your breath come out in a puff as it hit the blistering air.

As you sat, you remembered the first time you went on a date with him.

There was a new bookstore downtown and you non-stop nagged him to take you so you could see the books.

He had teased you and asked why you would even want to go there of all places. Regardless, he showed up the next day to take you anyway.

You smiled to yourself. He's so sweet... But where was he now?

Before you could begin to worry about his whereabouts, you heard a faint voice cursing down the street.

"Look what you did Xiumin! You messed up big time now. She's probably really mad... I made her wait and now it started storming. Aish!"

You listened and couldn't help but laugh at his childness.

He rarely spoke to himself and you always found it cute in some way when he did.

You finally saw him approach, his big coat and beanie's vibrant colours clashing with the pure white snow. He gripped an umbrella in his right hand.

You stood up as he got closer, still talking to himself.

He soon realized you were there and rushed over to you, nearly slipping.

"Hey! I-I can explain! Please don't be mad!" He shifted the umbrella over your head.

"I'm not mad... I was getting worried though." You hugged him tightly.

He wrapped his arms around your figure and laid his chin on your shoulder.

"I have a surprise, for making you wait so long." He pulled back but kept his arm around you.

"Really? What is it?" You asked excitedly.

He grinned and linked hands with you.

"Let me show you~"

He directed you down the sidewalk as you both talked and laughed.

Soon, you both came to a small building that read 'Happy Lemon'.

Xiumin held the colourful door open for you. You went in and immediately sensed a warm, sweet aroma.

You giggled and chose a window seat, glancing up at your boyfriend who smiled and sat opposite.

The waitress came and placed menus in front of you. She offered specials but you politely declined.

Xiumin slid out of his coat and hung it on the back of his chair before helping you take off yours and hanging it also.

"So..." He started to say.

"You can get anything you want, it's on me." He winked and reached over, touching your cold hand.

"Thanks Xiumin~" You smiled brightly, intertwining your fingers with his.

Looking over the menu, you decided to get a Peppermint Hot Chocolate. It sounded delicious and it wasn't expensive so you thought it was reasonable for Xiumin (after all, he isn't Suho).

Xiumin himself settled on a French Vanilla Cappuccino, which he sometimes made for you when you visit him at the dorm that he stayed at with the other EXO members.

The waitress came back, took the orders, and quickly rang them in.

You looked around and noticed there weren't that many people.

In the back of the cafe, there was another couple, holding hands and laughing.

'They must be a new couple.' You thought, smiling to yourself.

After watching them a little longer, you switched eyesight back to Xiumin.

His hand was on his cheek, holding his head up. But where he was looking made you jump.

He was staring right at you. 

Sunlight had finally peeked through the clouds, brightening up his dark eyes and causing a faint glow on his caramel hair.

"Wh-What..." You stuttered and pushed some stray hair behind your ear.

"You're beautiful, you know that?" He said with a low voice.

You felt your face heat up. Knowing you were blushing, you threw up your hands to block his view.

"A-Ani..." You said.

The waitress arrived with your beverages before he could say anything. She set them down on the table before bowing and leaving.

You took the hot, steaming mug and brought it up to your face to smell the minty aroma.

Gently blowing over the top of it, you looked at Xiumin.

He had sat back against his chair, the cup of coffee held near his chin but he still had his eyes on you.

He soon grinned.

"You don't want anything to eat?" He asked.

You shook your head slightly, taking a sip from the drink. You setted it back down and moved closer toward the table.

"Ani, I just wanted some hot chocolate. I don't want you to pay for much either." You replied.

He chuckled and moved closer until your faces were only inches apart.

"Don't worry about it. I would pay anything for you. As long as it makes you happy."

You shivered in happiness and closed the small gap between your faces.

You could taste his cappuccino. Warm and chocolately.

He caressed your cheek and his mouth smiled against yours.

Soon, you pulled away, your face flushed as you realized it was you who engaged in the kiss.

You grabbed the mug again and drank from it to hide your embarrassment.

Xiumin smirked and leaned back in his chair.

"Amazing."
