"I'll never get it Kai!" You exclaimed.

"Come on, it's not hard." He said, comforting you.

"Easy for you to say." 

"Ok, watch again."

He moved with elegant precision on the hard, polished floor, movements graceful and mesmerising.

Step by step, he guided you into each position with perfection- except from one move you just couldn't quite grasp the concept of.

'First step, then turn and land with an arm in the air.' You thought.

Attempting it for the umpthteen time, you huffed and slumped to the ground.

"I give up." You mumble.

Kai turned the music off and crouched next to you.

"I dare you to say that to my face."

You looked up at him and sighed.

He took your hands in his and brought you up, pulling you closer.

Stepping backwards and flicking a switch turned the song back on.

The melody resonated in the hall, bouncing off the walls and surrounding you both.

He brought you closer and put his hand on your waist, giving a slight smirk.

You flushed red and looked away so he wouldn't see.

Instead, he lifted your face up to meet his eyes.

He leaned closer, eyes twinkling and lips twitching.

You readied yourself for what you hoped was a seal between yourselves, but he only smiled and danced.

You followed the routine through with him, until the move came up again.

He executed it flawlessly, after which you tried.

Still couldn't do it.
