Chapter 4

Alex's POV

How could Jack be so stupid?!? That's not exactly what friends do! Fuck each other and then make nothing of the pregnancy! Jaylin is so young she shouldn't have to worry about a child. Let alone the father isn't even her boyfriend. Jaylin isn't the one to go around doing things like that. Jaylin is one of my best friends. And Jack isn't exactly ready for parenthood. But maybe punching him was a little too much.

Jaylin's POV

I know Alex is upset. I mean we all are. But punching people isn't going to help us. At least Jack's nose stopped bleeding.

"I knew he'd be mad but damn." Jack wined.

"I just don't know how you two could do this." Rian mumbled.

"Stop moaning around! I said I might be pregnant. Not that it was a defiant yes." I yelled. I was getting fed up with them! I know we aren't in the best situation but come on!

"We're just worried about you Jay." Zack said.

"Thank you but I'm fine!" I said sitting down.

"Maybe we should go get some pregnancy tests." Jack suggested.

"Ugh now?" I asked.

"I'll go." Alex said emerging from the bunks. "I have to get other things."

"Thank you." I sighed.

"I'm sorry Jack." Alex apologized.

Jack didn't say anything back. My god what have I done.

"Fine." Alex mumbled as he left to go to the store. I guess Zack and Rian could tell that me and Jack wanted some space because they left to the back of the bus.

"Jack. You should have made up with Alex. He was trying to be a good friend." I scolded.

"Like when he punched me?" He asked.

"How would you feel?" I asked back.

"Jaylin I know I got us into some deep shit but I don't know why everyone is flipping out!" He said.

"Well no duh! Jack there is another life involved!"

"I get that. But what about aborsion?" He asked.

"Jack you did not just say what I thought you did." I said.

"Just act like nothing ever happened!" He yelled.

"There is no reason for us to kill a human! We have money, we can take care of it there is no reason Jack!" I yelled back. "I never thought that you would say that. I know that your not wanting to be a dad but think of all the wonders of being a father! And what about last night? I thought you wanted to take care of this baby with me."

"I just thought ... your right I'm sorry I even said it." He apogiszed.

"Oh I do wonder what goes on in that head of yours." I wondered aloud.

The next day

How slow can this thing be?!? I'm in the bathroom waiting for the results from the pregnancy test. Finally it's done! And what does it say? Well nothing I didn't guess. Well now it is for sure that I am pregnant. I gotta stop and rearrange my thoughts. I love kids and I want some, but is now the best time? I was kinda hoping that the test would be negative for Jacks sake. This baby is Jack's. Was my crush on him really this big? How come nothing good ever happens to me?

"Jaylin?" I heard Rian's voice "Are you ok in there?"

I opened the door. "Yeah I'm fine."

"What did it say?" He asked.

"What do you think?" I mumbled.

He pulled me into a hug. "Everything is going I be just fine."

"Jack isn't ready. I don't wanna take away his fun." I said sobbing.

"Well it was his 'fun' that got you two into this." He said comforting me.

"I'm not sure if this thing is going to work." I admitted.

"It hasn't even started yet so how would you know?" He said.

"I just know." I pulled myself together. I have to go tell the guys. But one by one. They all can't be in the same room when I tell them the news. I poked my head out into the living room"Jack!" He hopped up and walked over. He looked Nereus. Rain patted his shoulder and then left us alone.

"What did it say?" He asked.

"Jack" I started coking up "Your going to be a dad." He looked sick. So I hugged him. Nothing much I can do really. "Why are you crying Jack?" I asked.

"I'm going to be a horrible father." He sobbed.

"Jack you going to be a wonderful dad!" I exclaimed.

"Really?" He asked.

"Of course!" I reassured.

"I hope it's a boy." He smiled.

"Please! I want a girl." I laughed. Jack walked out of the room and told Alex to come in.

"What did it say?" He asked holding my hands.

"I'm pregnant." I said. He held my hand tighter due to his anger.

"What did Jack say?" He asked again.

"He's going to take care of it. Me and him and our baby is going to be just fine!" I said happily.

"If he's anything less then an amazing father I will kill him" he treated.

"I wouldn't expect anything less from him." I smiled. Alex left and Zack walked in.

"Is it true?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm going to be a mommy." I said.

"How are you?" He asked.

"I'm happy. I just hope it's healthy." I smiled.
