Song: Floral and Fading by Pierce The Veil

Liz

"Why does Andy Biersack keep giving us dirty looks?" Telle asked, his brow knit in confusion. We were at the daily after show Barbecue. That night Ricky had decided to eat with us instead of his band. He seemed to mesh nicely with all of The Word Alive and the rest of the crew.

"Ricky might have told him off earlier today," I explained, causing Ricky to look a bit sheepish. I was glad he had stood up for me, though. It was nice to know I had someone who was willing to do that for me, especially since Ricky and Andy knew each other prior to my involvement with either of them.

"What happened?" Paul asked with an expression that was a mix of concern and curiosity. I had yet to tell anyone about the conflict between Andy and Ricky or about their fight that morning.

"He was getting mad at Liz because she wouldn't go see Black Veil Brides' set but she came to see us play so I told him to go fuck off," he answered. While he hadn't exactly said 'fuck off' to Andy, Andy was acting like Ricky had cursed him out for hours. I don't know if Andy thought I was 'his' or something sexist like that, but whatever had made him so upset was not going away any time.

"You put more nicely than that, but you did get pretty pissed," I clarified. I didn't need my friends thinking my new crush was crazy or anything.

"Well, that would probably be the reason he looks like he might bash your head in," Paul told us. I looked over at Andy. I had been trying to avoid his eyes at all cost, but now that I was look ing at him, I saw that Paul was right. Andy wasn't even trying to hide he contempt.

"I wonder if he's mad at both of you or just Ricky," Telle commented, picking at the food on his plate. I wish they could have been there to see everything that had happened.

"Probably both of us since I wouldn't go see his stupid band play," I replied.

"I thought you were a fan of Black Veil Brides," Telle said in shock. Black Veil Brides had been one of the bands that had gotten me into this type of music, other than Telle and The Word Alive, of course. That didn't mean that Andy's action didn't give me the right to call his band stupid, though.

"You are?" Ricky asked in shock. I couldn't tell if he was just surprised or worry that I was like every other girl who liked Black Veil Brides and loved Andy so much I wanted to marry him or something.

"I am, but I he acts like a little kid when he doesn't get his way. The music might be good, but he's a shit person," I told them. I glanced back over to where Andy was sitting to see one of his bandmates had joined him. Maybe now we would be able to eat without him glaring at us.

The conversation quickly turned away from Andy and the earlier incident, which I was glad about. After we were finished our meal, we threw away our trash and started heading back to our buses. "You wanna go on a walk before bus call?" Ricky asked when we started to near The Word Alive bus.

"I'll be back soon guys," I shouted towards my friends instead of answering Ricky directly. They all gave me a nod and I turned to smile at Ricky. We then started to stroll along. I had no idea where he was planning on going. I don't even think he knew, but we were just enjoying each other's company.

"How was your guys set today by the way?" I asked. Of course I couldn't go watch them play. Like I've said, I had a job here on Warped Tour. It wasn't a time for me to have fun, even though I did enjoy myself of course.

"It was great. I wish you could have been," he answered. I also wished I could have went. I wished I could have been able to spend more time with him outside of The Word Alive's merch tent, but I wasn't going to get my way if I wanted to keep my job.

All of a sudden, I felt his hand slip into mine. His smooth tattooed skin was warm next to mine. The sensation was so uncalled for that I almost jumped. When I realized it was just his hand in mine, I felt myself relax. I intertwined my fingers with his and I felt the corners of my mouth twitch into a smile. Being with him made me nervous and calm all at once. I was nervous that I might do or say something embarrassing, but at the same time, being at his side made me think everything was going to be ok. It was a odd feeling, but it made me want to be with him all the time. I never wanted to leave his side. I liked simply walking around aimlessly with him. I liked when he stood at the merch tent with me for no reason other than to keep me company. I had never felt like this about someone else. I had had other relationships, but not one compared to what I felt now with Ricky.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. We're gonna be near Seattle next week and my parents and possibly my sister are coming to the show, so you'll get to meet them," he exclaimed. The thought of meeting his family was a bit stressful. I'm sure they were nice people, but I didn't want them to hate me or anything. Maybe I was just too worried all the time.

"That sounds great. I can't wait to meet everyone," I responded, trying to hide my nerves. I was sure they would like me. It wasn't like they would have something against the way I looked and dressed because their own son looked and dressed similarly. I was a nice person, too. So, there shouldn't be much to worry about, right?
