Chapter Three- Getting to know the guys

The next day was Sunday so I didn't go to work. I woke up and walked in the kitchen and made breakfast. I made some svrmbled eggs, bacon, toast, and sausage. I also got the orange juice out. While I was eating Kane and Nate walked in.

"Hey, Mia." They both said.

"Hey." I said taking a drink of my orange juice. "There's breakfast if you guys want any."

"Yum! I'm starved." Said Kane grabbing a plateful.

"No thanks. I'm not hungry." Said Nate.

"It's because you ate most of my food yesterday." I said.

We all laughed.

After we all ate breakfast we went to the living room and watched a little T.V.

While we were watching T.V Kaleb walked in only in his boxers. I couldn't help staring.

"Like watcha ya' see?" He asked smirking.

I blushed. I couldn't help it! He had a freaking eight pack!

"Well of course she doesn't." Kane said.

"You're a little kid. You don't know nothing!" Kaleb said.

"I'm thirteen!" Kane said.

"Well, if you're thirteen how old are you two?" I asked Nate and Kaleb.

"I'm sixteen." Said Nate.

"Twenty." Said Kaleb.

"Cool, me too." I told Kaleb. I shouldn't off, though.

"Oh, we're the same age. So, wanna go out sometime?" He asked squeazing between Kane and me on the couch.

"Um, no thank you." I said.

"You know you do." He said.

"Go put some clothes on." I said pushing him off the couch in a playful kind of way.

He got up and walked to the room I let him sleep in while they lived here.

Just then the phone rang.

I walked over to it and answer it.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey, it's Logan."

"Oh, hey Logan."

"Hey, I just wanted to say, that, my girlfriend and I broke up."

"Really?" I said excitedly. I tried again. "I mean, really?" I said more comforting.

"Yeah, she was mad that I was friends with you. She thought you and I had a thing."

"Oh."

"But, that's ridiculous, right? I mean we dated in seventh grade and that's it. Also, I'm twenty-three and you're twenty."

"But, we dated in seventh grade and you're worrying about age now?"

"I know you like me, but I just don't feel the same. I also know you feel that we are mates."

"Yeah, we are. I know we are."

"I gotta go. Bye." And that was that. He hung up.

When I turned around Kane and Nate were lingering around listening to the conversation.

"Was that you're mate?!" Nate said.

I nodded.

"How? He doesn't feel the same." Said Kane.

"I have no idea, but I need to get him to feel the same." I said. "Even if it takes an eternity." I muttered the last part.

It was lunch time and Kane, Nate, Kaleb, and I went out to eat.

We went out and ate pizza at Pizza Hut.

While we were ordering I seen someone walk in. It was Logan....

The waiter walked away and I tried to hide.

"I'll, um, be right back. Gotta go to the ladies' room." I said running off to the bathroom.

I ran in there and no one was in there but me. Good. I satyed in there for a while, but not too long. I don't want the guys to worry. So I went back to the table hoping Logan was gone. He wasn't and he seen me. He waved.

I went to my table hoping he wouldn't come over to talk to me.

"Hey, Mia." He said walking over here.

"Hi." I said.

"Um, I see you have some guy friends." He said.

"Yea."

"I'm Kane!"

"I'm Nate."

"And, I'm Kaleb."

"Oh, um hi."

"Well, we gotta go!" I said grabbing them three.

"But, we haven't eaten yet!" Said Kane.

"We'll go somewhere else!" I said.

When we got out in the parking lot I decided to tell them that he is my mate.

"He's my mate."

"That was the one who rejected you?!" Said Kane.

"What!?" Growled Kaleb.

"It's fine. Lets just go."

We got in my F250 Forn King Ranch and drove to a different place to eat.
