Chapter 4

3 weeks later

"Ok right there. Great!"A photographer said as he was taking a picture of Sooyoung as she was doing her photoshoot. "Alright Sooyoung take a break."The photographer said. Sooyoung nods before going to the dressing room to get her water bottle. She takes a sip and saw her boss looking sad.

She took another sip before walking over to him. "Hey. Are you alright?"She asked him as she approached him. Chanyeol turned to see Sooyoung, "Yeah, I'm fine."he said. 

"Are you sure? I know this is not my concern but you look kind of down lately."She said. Chanyeol didn't respond he just sat in a chair, tapping on another seat to signal Sooyoung to sit next to him. She did and Chanyeol speaks, "Well Sooyoung it's about my appa."He said making Sooyoung worried. "What happened to him? Is he ok."Sooyoung said, she really liked Chanyeol's appa when Chanyeol and her were dating.

"H-he died. 2 weeks ago in a car accident."He said trying to hold back his tears. Sooyoung eyes watered, "What?! Oh god i'm so sorry Chanyeol."She said. Chanyeol speaks, "It's not your fault Sooyoung. It was that idiot who crashed my dad's car."His anger rised, but he started to cry. 

Sooyoung started to feel bad, she started to pat his back. "It's ok, he's in a better place. He's looking down at you maybe now. Stop crying he will always be in your heart."She said softly.

Chanyeol surprised her by hugging her tightly. Sooyoung sat there shocked, her heart was beating fast.

"Thank you Sooyoung."He said. Sooyoung slowly hugged him back. "Your welcome..Chanyeol."

"Sooyoung-ah, You need to change into your next outfit."Hyoyeon said (She's the wardrobe person). "Arraeso."Sooyoung replied. Her and Chanyeol broke the hug, "Thank you for comforting me Sooyoung, I really appreciate it."Chanyeol gave her a heart warming smile.

Sooyoung nods, "No problem boss. I need to get back to work. Annyeong."She said before getting up walking to the dressing room. Chanyeol watched her leave and he suddenly frowned.

Yah Sooyoung, you are making me fall for you.

Sooyoung was done with work and she was waiting for Jessica to fetch her. She looked up at the sky  to see drops of rain falling. She groaned she looked at her watch. "Where is she?"

She suddenly got a text from her sister. 

Soo, I will not make it. My boss wants me to come to his office for a brief meeting. Please find another way home. Sorry :( 

Also I will make it up to you :)

Sooyoung sighed, how is she suppose to get home? Suddenly a car pulls up to her. Sooyoung raised and eyebrow, who was that person? She tried to see through the window but it was tinted and it was a sports car.

The windows rolled down revealing Chanyeol. "Hey, do you need a ride?"he asked her. Sooyoung speaks, "Oh aniyo, I was gonna walk."She lied. "Oh but it's gonna rain soon. Here let me take you home."

Sooyoung looked at the dark sky then to Chanyeol. She gave in, "Arraseo."She said as Chanyeol unlocks the door so she could enter. Sooyoung shuts the door and puts on her seat belt. "Ready?"He asked and Sooyoung nods.

Chanyeol starts to drive into the traffic. It was quiet and a bit awkward for Sooyoung. She still found it awkward still trying to encounter with her ex. She looked out the window to watch people and buildings past by.

"So, how's work?"Chanyeol asked since he couldn't think of anything else to bring up. "Good."Sooyoung replied. "So Sooyoung I was wondering, there's this fashion show coming up in 3 weeks and I was wondering if you want to join, since you are new here. I mean you have the height, looks, and body."Chanyeol suddenly blushed after saying the last part.

Checking me out huh Chanyeol? , Sooyoung thought.

"I'm not sure."She said. "What why?"He asked. "I'm not sure if they'll like someone like me. I mean I can get really clumsy. What if they don't like me."She muttered. Chanyeol chuckled, "Don't worry Sooyoung. I'm sure that you'll do fine."He said.

This made Sooyoung smile, "Thank you, Chanyeol."

"You're welcome."He said. The car suddenly stopped, Sooyoung looks up to see that it was her apartment. "Well.."Chanyeol said before looking at Sooyoung. "Um thanks Chanyeol for the ride."She gave him a heartwarming smile. "Thanks for accompanying me."He replied,while smiling back.

"You are welcome. Um thanks again."She said before getting out. "No problem, bye."He waved before Sooyoung shut the door. Chanyeol's phone ring, he picked it up to see his fiance calling. "Hello."He said. "What? Dinner?Ok be there."He hung up and drove off.
