Craig P.O.V.

"This is my office. I handle all business here." Sj's husband said. I didn't really catch his name because I was too busy glaring at him. "Business huh? Why does a biker need an office?" I slipped out. The guy chuckled and fiddled with his rings. "I didn't call you here to talk about my stuff. I came to talk about how you and Sj know each other." He stated, kicking his feet up on the desk. "What makes you think we know eachother?" I asked rudely, rolling my eyes. "Come on man, I'm not dumb. I see it. The way you guys talked like you had known each other forever, you helped her cook like you had known what you were doing. You knew where she kept everything. I observed your posture around her." He explained, grabbing a bottle of whiskey out of the right bottom drawer of the desk. He grabbed two glasses out of the top left drawer and poured some of the whiskey in each glass before sliding one in my direction. He stood up and grabbed the cup, holding it out to me with a smile. I took it as he slung his arm around my shoulder. "I want you to do me a favor. I want you to stay away from Sj. Got it? She's a naive girl. Will listen to anything anyone has to say. I don't want to have to hurt you...and her because she thinks she can leave me for some stuck up rock star with a bad attitude. Okay? Good to know we are clear." He said. I let out a chuckle. "Its funny that you think you can keep her. She doesn't stay anywhere. She's always leaving, and trust me, once she gets tired of you she'll be gone like a flash of light. And she'll make it to where no one will find her. And she's definitely not naive.." I sneered before downing the whiskey and walking out of his office. "Craig? You have to try this garlic bread. Its magnificent!" Kenna cheered. I rolled my eyes, annoyed at her perkiness. "We don't have time to stay. Some stuff happened at the studio with my recordings and I have to go re-do some stuff." I told her as Sj walked back in the kitchen sniffling. She started to wash dishes, quickly. Her attitude showed something was off. Thrashing the dishes around as she washed them roughly. "Oh no. Well you can't do it afterwards or tomorrow even?" Kenna questioned. I sighed and shook my head 'no'. "The album has a deadline Kenna. I have to do it now. We still have to record the guitar." I lied again. Sj turned around and stared at me. Kenna was facing me so she didn't notice. "Oh okay then. Let me just grab my stuff." Kenna huffed and walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. Sj rolled her eyes and looked at me again. "Real smooth telling Michael all of that." She hissed. I sighed. "What the truth?" I questioned her, grabbing my coat. "You know you don't have to act like this..." She stated, holding a cup in her hand. "I don't. But I am. If you're so concerned on my attitude then ask your husband. Since you only heard my half of the conversation." I muttered. She scoffed and stifled a laugh. We were interrupted by Kenna walking back in. "Can you drop me off at my apartment on your way to the studio?" She asked. I nodded, grabbing my keys off the table. "I'll call you Sj. You have a lovely home." Kenna cooed, admiring the house. Sj smiled and nodded. "Thank you." She said, gritting her teeth. We walked out of the house and to the car, getting in and starting it up before driving off. The nerve that dude had. And Sj acting like nothing happened. Like she didn't leave me in the dust over something so stupid...
