Lily's POV

I was not expecting this to happen to me. It was like a big surprise party, but better.

I can't wait to go on adventures, start training, and go exploring the world of...

Well you figure that on your own, since we're going to start from the beginning.

And the beginning started at a library, in New York City.

I walked through the entrance of the library.

I saw walls and walls of books. This was my home.

My smile reached my eyes.

I started to walk towards the fantasy books to get my favorite series.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians and the Heroes of Olympus series.

I found them all just sitting on the bookshelf.

I took every single one and headed towards a table.

I sat down in a chair and placed all the books down.

I sat there just picking up each book at a time feeling it and looking at the cover.

I heard two pairs of footsteps behind me.

I turned around with a grin.

There was my friends, Jayden and Prim Sage, the twins.

Oh yeah, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Lily Shade.

"Where were you two?" I asked them crossing my arms.

"Sorry, there was traffic." Said Jayden while her and Prim sat down at table I was sitting at.

They looked down at the table.

"Yes! You got the books before anyone else did." Cheered Prim.

"You bet I did. I'm not letting go of these bad boys to random strangers." I smiled victoriously.

Jayden rolled her eyes with a smile still plastered on her face. "Of course."

Prim reached for one of the books, but I smacked her hand away from it.

She took her hand back, and gave it a little kiss before hiding it behind her other arm. "What was that for?"

"I'm going to put these on hold-" I motioned my hand above the books. "And we are going to have some breakfast-"
