epilouge :
Dear Cameron,
it's been 63 years without you in my life. Every year on your birthday I would write you a letter; talking about the kids, about our friends, and about me.
You have no idea how I cope with your death, and truth is I don't. I cry myself to sleep every night praying that someday I would be reunited with you again.
That day is coming by very quickly. As I am growing older and older each day I know my time is coming soon. I am 90 years old, you would be 91 years old. You probably would've wanted me to move on, you want to know the truth?
I didn't. Ever since your death I wouldn't talk, eat, I didn't want to live. I became a dead person walking, Davina, Alex, and our new born son Kyle lived with Kat and Matt until I could pull myself together.
1 year later it was your birthday, I decided to write you a letter even though you couldn't actually read it. I let out all of my feelings and every detail that I expressed. I let everything out.
It was then that I decided I would get better. Not just for you but for the kids, our family, and our friends. I got myself together, I got a better paid job, the kids started living with me.
I would take them out and I would always keep a smile on my face even though you weren't with me. I guess you could say I was a strong tough cookie. Davina, Alex, and Kyle both ask about you, I can never come up with what to say.
Of course they remember you, except Kyle. but it's hard considering that they were growing older and older. New memories would over take their brains yet they remembered bits of pieces of you.
Nash passed away 2 years ago. The only good thing is that he is reunited with you. I could imagine you and him now; watching movies, playing basketball, arguing with each other but them making up.
Kat and Matt are both old and grey just as I am. They still live their life to the fullest even though they can't do much. I could never imagine myself having no teeth but hey I am old.
Davina just finished college 2 years ago and is now a successful lawyer. She is married to a man that I have approved of and I bet you would too. She has a adorable little boy and his name is Austin.
As for Alex he doesn't have any kids yet, but he is married to the most prettiest girl I have ever met. He is a successful basketball player for the Warriors team. Remember we used to love the Warriors? I still do and I hope you do too.
Now Kyle, the son you never met which breaks my heart. Oh how much you would've loved him. He has 2 little girls named Amani, and Kayla. Their mother passed away due to cancer. He was heart broken.
My hands are getting really tired now Cameron. I might as well say this now.
I don't have much time to live. I am sick, and I am dying. I am so happy that I have had the chance to experience true love. With you.
I guess this is where our love story ends.
Yours truly,
Alliyah Davina Claire.
