My name is Emilia Davis.
I live in Newcastle, not by choice but it's where I was born. If I did have the choice I would move to New York or Paris because it's where everything's happening, there's never a dull moment . Paris Is so beautiful and has so many amazing sites whereas is in New York time never stops. I on the other hand get up on a morning and go to my dead end job where I sit and watch all the successful individuals walking past my window. I always hoped I could be one of them but at this moment in time I've never been further away. I promise you there is more to me than it may seem.
Today is Monday which means I have to wake up at a stupid time in the morning and get ready for work. My outfit of choice is a black skirt with a white blazer and my hair in a messy point tail, as you can tell I put a lot of effort into my out fit choices.
'Keys, keys where are my keys?' I exclaimed waking my room mate Katie up.
Katie was great, she was supportive of what I do and understood I was waiting for the right moment to spread my wings and head out into the big scary world. She was the complete opposite of me though, she was tall blonde and tanned. I was short dark haired and pale, lovely.
'On the window sill as always, have a good day babe I'll be here when you get back!'
'That's no surprise' I muttered to myself.
The weather today was like always horrible. I'm pretty sure the sun never comes out in Newcastle.
I walked to the bus stop checking the time whilst doing so, and was horrified to notice I left the house five minutes later than I normally do. This resulted in me running full speed towards the bus stop and just making it in time
I plonked myself down onto a seat and notice the gentleman behind me staring.
'You sure can run' he spoke sarcastically.
I examined him carefully and noticed his suit has a Hugo boss imprint. As well as this, he was very clean. Clean in the way he spoke and looked.
'Yeah well, couldn't be late for work.' I realised when I said this that I sounded rather blunt and dismissive of the man trying to start a conversation with me.
'Sorry I woke up late and it's my 5th time this month, my boss is going to kill me'
'Is he now? You look like an intelligent girl, where do you work?'
I could of lied, I could of saved my self the embarrassment of telling this man where I worked but instead I said it clear and loud.
'Oh I work at cafè cakè'
'A girl like you working in a tea shop? You could be out doing great things'
'Hey I like it there! You know nothing about me , we haven't even been speaking for one minute! Yes I may not be a successful rich business woman but I'm happy, really happy' the sadness in my voice was detectable, I could tell by the way his eyes softened.
'Sorry' he spoke 'I didn't mean to come across so forward, here take my number there could be something in it for you'
'Um okay thanks'
'Well this is my stop, make sure to call me'
I smiled politely as he got off the bus, the truth was I was not going to call his number. I couldn't tell what his profession was but I know I was not going to get involved with a man in a nice suit, it would cause me nothing but trouble.
I put the business card in my purse and walked into work.
'Morning' I said cheerfully
I realised when I walked in only my friend Sally was working.
'Where is everyone?' I asked
'Everyone is sick, I don't know how but they are, just you and me today'
Great I thought to myself.
The day carried on as normal except I couldn't stop thinking about the man I had met earlier. This could get interesting.

Hi! Sorry this chapter is boring but it's taking me a while to get into the characters as I gave only just created them. I have really big ideas for this book and I hope you enjoy
