I was now finishing my homework for the night. My mom was cooking and all of my siblings were now home. It was actually pretty quiet which is very rare. I honestly can't complain.

I finished all my homework and decided to lay on my bed and listen to music. I put my headphones on and listened to music. I layed there looking up at my ceiling. I liked to just stare at it while listening to music to clear my mind. Sometimes it helped sometimes it didn't.

Timothy and my younger sister Mulan burst through my door to inform me dinner was ready. Mulan is 8, she's a year younger than Timothy. They're both very close. Kinda like how me and Marlynn were once. I sat up and nodded to them.I took my headphones off and placed them on my pillow. I scooted off my bed and walked in the hall. I caught Marlynn in the hall and rolled my eyes. She walked down the stairs behind me. I made it down the stairs and inhaled the smell of lasagna. I loved my mom's lasagna, all of us did.

I walked to the kitchen and sat down. "Down just in time tonight Luna, just finished making the lasagna" she said. I smiled at her and replied "My mouth is already watering just from the smell". She laughed and started fixing our plates. Marlynn walked in while texting someone. Probably was Dylan. I shaked my head and frowned in utterly disgust. She sat down all innocent. Only a fool would believe that Marlynn was innocent.

I finished helping my mom fix the plates and set the table. Every one came else came in and sat down. My mother and I sat down as well. We all bowed our heads and said prayer. We finished prayer and everyone dug right in. It was quiet at the table , everyone was focused on eating. My mom broke the silence and began her daily questions.

"How was everyone day today" she said. "It was good" everyone replied except Marlynn. She was looking down smiling at her phone. I shook my head and continued to eat. Mom looked at her and said "Marlynn put that phone down and answer the question". She sighed and put her phone down. "My day was.. amazing" she said excitingly. "I bet" I said as I stuffed my mouth with lasagna. She gave me a look. I smirked at her like a evil devil and continued to eat. "Enough girls" mom said while looking back and forth at us. "Marlynn what was soo great about your day" mom asked. "Yeah Marlynn what was so great about it" I said gazing at her. I put my fork down and waited for her reply. She gave me a deep dark stare. The kind where she was staring deep in my soul. We had had a stare off for about 30 seconds.

She rolled her eyes and looked at our Mom. "My day was great because of my marvelous friends that make life fantastic" she said. I nodded while placing my fork down on my plate. "I'm sure if I was screwing someone willingly in school I'm sure my day would be fantastic too" I mumbled under my breath. Everyone looked at me confused wondering what I had said. Mom yelled "okay what the hell is your problem Luna". "What's my problem? You need to worry about what her problem is" I replied. Mom looked shocked. The table got quiet for a min. Marlynn scooted her chair back and said "okay Luna let's do it.. let's put it all out on the table". I gave her the most disgusting look ever.

I nodded. "Let's do it.." I said as I looked around at everyone at the table. "Welcome to the Table of Truth" I said. "What the hell is wrong with you girls , can we go one night without arguing"? "No" I proudly said. "No there's somethings we need to put on the table tonight" Marlynn said. "Luna why are you so jealous of me?" "You want what I have so bad that you envy me and hate me for it" she said. "What do I want that you have Marlynn? Drugs? Alcohol ? What"? I replied. "Friends" she said. The word kept repeating in my head as she continued to talk. Mom tried to stop the convo but Marlynn continued to talk. "You're jealous because nobody likes you nor want to be your friend..NOBODY" she said. Tears rolled down my face as I stared at her ready to break down. Everyone was silent and in shock. She smirked and started to nibble on a piece of her lasagna.

I sniffled and wiped some of my tears away. "I might not have friends Marlynn , but atleast I'm not a whore who screws someone in a schools storage closet". Marlynn eyes widened as an embarrassed look came across her face. "What did you just say Luna Patterson" mom said as a tear rolled down her face. "You heard me" I said in a saddened evil tone. I slammed my hand on the table and arose from my chair. "Every since dad died nothing has been the same, Marlynn's a lost whore, I'm a complete mess up and the whole family is a mess". "I'm so done with everyone , I'm done with myself and this life" I cried out. Tears were rolling down everyone's face. I ran out the kitchen and up to my room.

I slammed my door and broke down crying. Marlynn was right. No one liked me or even cared about me. If they did they could tell that I was a broken girl. I never under stood why no one could even see it. Was I really invisible? I began to have those thoughts again. This time I didn't try to get them out my head. I closed my eyes and seen a blade , blood and angels. Maybe this was a sign that I shouldn't be afraid anymore. I always wished to see my Father again and talk with him again. Maybe this was my one and only chance... Suicide.
