Glitch in the Timeline

Chapter 3

I yawn and stretch, not noticing any differences. I smile, thinking 'everything will be okay..' I go downstairs and hear...Papyrus...? Screaming?! At Sans?! That is NOT like him...."...Papyrus what's wrooooOOOOOO WHO ARE YOU?" That was NOT my Papyrus. AT ALL....and Sans...that wasn't him.....that Papyrus had a very...'showy' costume...and that sans..had a hoodie...like..my Papyrus..?.....oh my goodness..THE TIMELINES. PAPYRUS WAS RIGHT! Sans's eye flashed and he turned my soul blue, pinning me down on the floor. He mumbled "....chara.." I groan in pain. "..heh..another kid..why are you in our house...and where's frisk?" I gasp hearing that evil name "...Frisk...I-I don't know...I haven't seen them in a while..." "..you came out of their room...where did you put them..." "....T-their room..?" Did I take the place of Frisk? "..Wait a minute...I can explain...I think.." He nods and stares, awaiting my response. "...something went screwy with the timeli-" he cut me off and said "...heh..give me a minute..." He kept me on the ground and whispered something to Papyrus and then Papyrus exited the room. "..continue" "....Okay...m-my Papyrus said something was wrong with the timelines... And he was right...Last night I went to bed in MY bedroom and I woke up in F-Frisk's? It seems like something jolted the timeline..." "...oh..well, we need to figure out what happened and we need to fix it.." I nod and awkwardly chill on the floor where he was holding me down. "...C-can I get up n-" "what timeline are you from?" "...What timeline? Um..well..it looks like everything was swapped...My Papyrus was lazy and slacked on his work and Sans trained with Alphys and he worked very hard to get into the Royal Guard..." "underswap" "...Oh..um..okay.." He let me up and offered me a trip to...Grillbys? Oh. Right...swapped...So we went to Grillbys and got some burgers. I met some monsters..they seemed to be very...interested in me..I heard a few whispers here and there..'When did a new human get here?' And 'Who's that?' After the first 5 whispers I got used to it....it's weird..how the timelines work...how such an evil being as Temmie turn into that adorable little shop vender, wanting money for 'cooleg.' It was nice meeting 'new people', though. Papyrus was talking about 'capturing' me..Sans told him that I was like Frisk and wouldn't need to be captured..I'm nothing like that horrible...'person'...We all went home and I realized Papyrus had a weird obsession with spaghetti..just like Blueberry and tacos...interesting...whatever...I helped Papyrus out with dinner and ate, saying I loved his cooking. Eh, it wasn't that bad...Sans tucked Papyrus in, and it was adorable. Sans walked into his room but peeked out and wink "..stay safe, kiddo." He silently slipped into his room. I went into my room smiling, thinking back on the day. "..Maybe it'll be normal tomorrow." I say as I fall asleep.
