Call for Nia

Chapter 4

(FUCK MAN, IMMA TRY TO WRITE THIS AND MAKE IT GOOD BUT NO PROMISES!!)

Nia quickly unlocked the door before going to sit at her table.

"Nia?" said a deep voice.

Nia turned and couldn't believe who was in her house.

Nia stood shocked looking towards the doorway, "Glenn?"

"Nia!" Glenn shouted "Wake up!"

What the hell? Nia opened her eyes and realized she was in bed. She looked up so see,

"Dad?" Nia said questionably to see that her eyes very still slightly fuzzy from just waking up.

"Yeah it's me, I was supposed to take you to the doctor today, had to break the door down cause you wouldn't wake up." Said Nia's dad before he motioned to the doorframe with cracked pieces of wood where her father had kicked the door.

"Shoot!" Nia said with a hint of annoyance because she knew that she would have to explain it to her mother when she got home.

"Well don't just sit there! Get up and get dressed!" He said before closing the curtain to Nia's room.

You see Nia had her door taken off the hinges after arguing with her brother too much.

"Nia I did not come 10 towns away just for you to wind up missing you doctors appointment," Nia's dad yelled, "NOW HURRY UP AND GET DRESSED!!"

"Damn it hasn't even been 2 minutes yet." Nia thought as she slid on some yoga pants and her Sword Art Online shirt.

Nia waddled out of her room with her crutches and slid on her flip flops.

"Okay I'm ready." Nia said as she headed out the door with her father following behind her.

AT THE DOCTORS OFFICE

"Okay bend your knee for me," The doctor said. "Good, good."

"So doc how long do you think it'll be until she starts walking without crutches?" Nia's dad asked.

"About 3 or 4 weeks, we just need to make sure everything is properly healed, and then about another 4 weeks until she can stop wearing the knee brace." Said the doctor. "Then there's just physical therapy and her knee should be at full strength again."

"Okay that sounds good, but Nia you have to be careful, this is the 4th time you've done this." Nia's dad said with a stern look on his face.

"I know, I know." Nia said with a slight hint of annoyance because she had been through this process so many times.

"Okay well thanks a lot doc, her mother should be bringing her the next time she has an appointment." Nia's dad said as they left the examination room.

BACK AT NIA'S HOUSE

"Okay Nia I'll see you later." Nia's dad said as he kissed her on the head and left.

Group Chat: Maddy, Cheyenne, Catherine

Maddy: Aye I gotta plug, a dub for $40 is that a scam?

Me: Yeah I know people who know people who sell for way less, they're overcharging you by like $20.

Cheyenne: idc I just wanna get high

Catherine: Lets just wait till Sandy gets back from vacation and then we can ask her.

Maddy: true true

Me: Yeah just make up a lie and be like sorry all my friends dropped out last minute

Maddy: kk

Cheyenne: *sends conflicted meme*

Catherine: k

Me: Seems fake but ok

Maddy: *sends screenshot of putting group chat on do not disturb*

Nia eventually got sick of the chat and tossed  her phone on the bed.

"Guess its time to watch some anime." Nia said as she turned on Fruits Basket

Snapchat: Maddy

Hey guess what I'm watching? *zooms into TV and shows the anime*

Nia sent the snap and contently started watching the show
