Across Seas

The sunlight shimmered across the waters as it raised. It was truly beautiful. I stood at the front of the ship as it sailed, luckily we caught some young adventurers who wanted to go and explore the island.

We told them that it was our guild founders eating place but they swore that they wouldn't harm anything they were just from a non-magic guild that liked to explore places And collect different types of plants.

I found Lily fast asleep in my bag, I could have slept but my mind was stuck on the ring. Who sent it? That was the main question that circled my brain. 

" You can sleep you know" a boy approached me, he couldn't have been no older that 13. "We'll be travelling for at least another 12 hours."
He was right, I couldn't be exploring the island tired and drowsy.

" yeah I should thank you" I smiled at him.

" we hav' a hammock downstairs if you'd like, Log told me to give it to you." His voice was sweet and welcoming, he beamed of innocence. Log was a muscular man who we met at the docks. He seemed rough and mean but when me and Lily first met him he was really a nice person. Looks can be deceiving. I grabbed the bag that Lily slept in and headed down for the bunk. As I climbed into the room a Hammock was at the side and some bookshelves behind it. I placed my bag underneath the hammock very slowly trying not to disturb Lily. I headed over to the bookcases to have a little browse and notice that they contained novels of mysteries and adventures. Some of the novels were on plant life. One particular novel stood out to me Tenrou Mysteries. I instantly grabbed the novel and I started to lay down on the hammock with the novel in my hand. It had a smooth leather surface, a sort of tired brown colour tinted the leather. and the title was in a thick gold lettering. I put my body in a comfortable position and I opened the book and placed the bottom of the spine on top of my very small baby bump. 

It seemed I had been reading for hours but really only thirty minutes had passed, I had been reading about the Island's past, about the guild Red Lizard. It seemed that the island was full of life a long time ago. Now it's just the resting ground for our founder, Mavis Vermillion.

I soon fell to sleep with the book in my hand and the hammock swaying ever so slowly, it was really peaceful.

My eyes started to open rather slowly revealing the cabin that i fell to sleep in, at first everything was blurry but I soon adjusted. "Were here" Log was stood at the door with a really cheerful smile plastered on his face. I got up and it seemed that Lily wasn't in my bag. He must have got up while i was asleep. I haven't slept like that since Gajeel left, oh how I miss him. I walked up onto the deck to see everyone viewing the island, even Lily who was in his battle form. "Levy you're awake" Lily said as he walked over to me, he also had a warming smile on his face. "Yeah I just woke up" I answered, my voice soft and quiet.

Lily asked me how my sleep was as we walked over to the the other side of the deck where they were all stood before. I told him that it was the nicest sleep that I have had in ages, which was the truth. We stopped at the end and i put my arms on the rim of the boat that enclosed us in, making sure we wouldn't fall off. The scenery was truly beautiful. The tree stood proud in the middle enlightening everything, you could see all the flowers and shrubbery from here. We wasn't quite there yet but in was in eye's view.

The teenage boy brought us over some drinks and told us breakfast would be ready soon. I was so thankful to them, they had been ever so kind to us, all we asked them to do was to take us there. We paid them of course but they gave up a hammock for me and now they are giving us breakfast, I will they world was full of more people like this instead of cruel and twisted people. I noticed how my mood had kind of picked up since we left the house. Lily looked happier and he said that he had noticed that my spirit had been lifted, maybe its because Gajeel might be out there alive..

We ate breakfast  and by the time we finished the ship had reached Tenrou. Its time to start my journey to find him
