Chapter 2

They were woken up by the sound of a bugle playing over the intercom.

"I've always wanted to do that," the Docter said.

When they came out there were machines that looked very advanced.

"What's this Doc?"Peter asked.

"This is some unique training I have designed for everyone based on the tournament. For example, Vincent, I have designed this wall of large buttons which can be set to certain heights and has two walls on either side for wall jumping. I will show you to your machine now."

He took everyone to their corresponding machines. Some were very simple, like Jerome and Jerry's machine, a small room where blocks came out and had to be punched in. Some were very complex, like Rentaro's, targets circled around him and he had to use two rope javelins to get the targets.

After 5 hours of training, they had lunch and talked about their training.

"So, what was your machine like?" Elliot asked as he sat down with Vincent's group,"I had to use a paintball gun with a bayonet on the end to fight robots."

"Holly and I had to use daggers to cut down robots," Olivia said.

"I had to use a riot shield to defend against paintball fire from all sides,"John said.

"I had to use two cat-o-nine-tail whips to hit targets," Beth said,"Oh hey Rentaro."

"Hey, can I join," Rentaro asked.

"Sure, we were talking about our machines," Vincent said.

"I had to get targets with two rope javelin."

"My father taught me how to use rope javelin, I could give you a hand," Vincent said.

"I'd love that, thanks."

"I'll ask the Docter If we can get off training so I can help you."

"What do you think he's training us for?" Holly asked.

"It's some kind of body enhancements, like enhanced strength or speed," Elliot said.

"Maybe, let's go ask him now, Rentaro."

"Ok, Vincent"

The Doctor Agreed to let Vincent train Rentaro for half the training time,which is 3 hours, every day until Rentaro is as good as Vincent because Vincent and Rentaro are both in great physical shape.

After the six hours of training, the Doctor started to take samples of blood, urine, stomach acid, fat levels, muscle levels and BMI

SIX DAYS LATER

After the training, the Docter came out and announced another tournament.

"Is this going to turn into a weekly event?" Vincent asked.

"Yes, yes it will."

"Fine"

The first battle was between Vincent and Tom

"So, I'm versing the Doctor's son."

"Please don't pound me too hard, he's keeping me captive to."

They ran at each other, Tom threw a punch, Vincent dodged it and uppercuts him in the gut. Tom wipes the blood from his mouth. Vincent runs at Tom, Vincent jumps and knees Tom in the face. Knocking him unconscious.

Next was Jerry and then Jerome, both easy victories. Next was the winner of the girls bracket, Camilla.

"Did you verse my sister, Beth, or girlfriend Holly?"
