I look at Jess and her eyes are filled of excitement. I feel my bandana start to itch so I take it off. Dam thing.
David walks up to the mic adjusting his jacket and smiles when his eyes meet Jess'
"This song is called Under pressure" his hands clamp around the mic and he taps his foot to the beat.
"pressure, pushing down on me..."
By the end of the song were all standing and cheer for David and he waves at the crowd and jumps down off the stage thanking everyone for being a great crowd.
"I've gotta go" Elvis kisses me on the check... Did he just..... Oh my god he did.
He winks at me.
Woah.
"You were amazing up there! And you wrote that song?!?" Jess jumps into Davids arms
"I'm glad you like it"
I notice in the corner of my eye Mr Phillips talking to 3 men in high end suits. I wonder what there saying..
But before I think to much Elvis walks onto the stage and people are already applauding him. I try to hide my smile but I just can't help but grin.
"Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen and Now I'd like to sing my newest song for ya. Called Lover Doll."
Elvis finds me in the crowds and grins as he stums his guitar. I grip the bandana in my hand so tight I can't feel my fingers.
"Oh my god" she smiles as she looks from me to him
"Lover doll, mmm lover doll, lover doll. Your the cutest lover doll, that I ever did live to see, let me tell you lover doll that you were Meant just meant for me."
"I wonder who he's meaning" Jess winks at me.
By the end of the song I've surprised myself Because I haven't fainted or melted into the floor yet.
Elvis disappears into the curtains and I'm almost to scared to face him. The crowd is setting down into the dinner when Mr Phillips joins us.
"Do I have good news for you" he smiles
Before he can finish I gasp and 2 arms wrap around my waist. I turn my head and Elvis smiles down at me and he.. He.. Shit he's biting his bottom lip.
I turn my attention back to Mr Phillips so I don't embarrace myself.
" Mr Alan Hide is a music producer. He works with people like Johnny cash and so on. "
"Johnny cash!" I smile
"Yes yes. Well we want to send you four on a tour around Tennessee"
"All of us together?" Jess smiles
"Yes. We want you four to sing together but also do a few songs on your own of course and you girls can do your separate thing from the boys but we want to unite you as one."
Both me and Jess jump up and down and I turn around to Elvis and wrap my arms around his neck.
"Mr Hide will meet you at the store at 10 sharp to sort papers and talk to you about the trip so don't be late. Oh and keep the jackets and bandanas. The crowd loved it"
David kisses Jess and I turn to Elvis and before I know it were kissing too.
