Another person's POV.

It has been days this lady hadn't woke up.
Jack and I were trying our best to make her walking again Jack said from the day I found her.
That was the day they've met, or night perhaps.
Jack always felt guilty everyday. Always blustering about how stupid he was if he could've gave the lantern earlier. The lantern felt useless.
It died out of fire anyways.
But Jack made himself clear that this week or less he will make that lady walk again like he had the power to. Everyone was nice here.
I know that the lady is too.
Literally Everyone.

She had been sick because of the cold that night.
She must've been in the same place she was for what seemed like hours, she was tired from running and cold. I don't blame Jack for this.
He's young to know what to do, although I don't really know what his age is. I don't to myself as well. But Jack is still in this mess.
Everyone is to Blame.
Jack would have been lost himself if he hadn't got a lantern. I'm sure the lady would understand.
Although from observation her appearance would seem lighter than both Jack and I.

Another day has passed she hasn't awakened yet.
I felt her pulse to make sure if she was still alive.
Gladly she is. That made Jack brighten up and
Tried everything to wake her up for his promise.
But to wake her up in a good way.
She needs rest.
After an hour my lantern shone to at the room the young lady has been into for days.
Jack slept at the side on a chair.
How adorable like she was a sister.
I turned my lantern and saw her unexpectedly sitting on the bed with her light eyes glaring at me.
I was frightened and yet glad to see her sitting up with her blankets covering half her body still.
I called on Jack who overslept which immediately
Got up and talked cheerfully.
I said to her "How do you do?"
She pulled up a thumb, very weakly.
"Oh my, please rest more, you've weakened from a fever for almost a week"
Her eyes widened from her reaction.
She haven't had a single word to say.
Maybe she couldn't much talk from her condition.
Was she shy?
