When my mom siad "The Charlestons invited us to dinner" I thought it meant "The Charlestons invited us to dinner." My mom accually meant "The Charlestons are having a party and invited us. Plus, people who you dont know will be there." I didn't know this until we arrived.

we walked around the gray sidded water front house and I imediatly realised it was a party. Don't get me wrong, it's not that i dont like partys, its just that i didn't feel like being social.

The Charlestons had a cornhole game set up, a ping pong table, and they had fireworks. Lots and lots of fireworks. That was my favorite part of course. So i decided to bussy myself until the fireworks by playing ping pong.

2 hours, 2 hotdogs, 5 games of ping pong, and 1 and a half peices of cake later, I finally saw someone bring out the fireworks.

But what I didnt know is that the events that happened in the next 10 minutes, would change my life forever.
