I'm Kat, 15 years young. Going on a road trip with 2 step sisters and two parents, one of which isn't my own mom; and planning to marry my dad. No way is she going to become my mom, not if I can help it. There's only one way to escape, and if it has to be with a stranger, I willing to do it...
Especially if it's with him.
______________________________________________________It's close to school time again and instantly regretting how she spent her summer, was getting to her. Especially since she could've used that time to stop her dad from getting engaged with Angie.
She never really liked her, just that feeling you get when you meet someone and instantly dislike them. She can't help it, it's just natural to not like her. Just thinking of her made her mad, she didn't know why.
When her dad broke the news to her, she was flabbergasted. She never thought their relationship would last that long. She thought her dad saw why she wasn't good for him. Sadly she was wrong.
Knowing if she argued, it would most likely end up with her losing and being sent to her room. So she just walked off to the park and thought. She thought about what she could've done to prevent this. How she could have convinced her dad that she wasn't "the one".
But she couldn't think about this now, she needed to spend her last days of no Angie being happy. So she did what she had done all summer...
she talked to him.

This book is in fact very similar to my life at the moment. That is the main reason I am writing this book. Just wanted to explain that to you guys, thanks for reading!
