Flat Lined

the day everything changed

Today's going to be a great day its the last day for school before spring break and its sunny and beautiful. I thought "Hey Grace!" I turned around to see my best friend Rachel there. "Hey rach what's up?" "Nothing much can't wait for today to be over" "Me either hey you coming over today!" "Yeah totally!" The bus finally got there and we both got on.

I get in my earphones out and started playing music. I just stared out the window as we drove down the road. "I don't want to be broken anymore living life in a million pieces I can see my world is changing waking me from my sleep..." My song played threw my earphones. The bus came to a stop and i watched the people get on.

As i watched i named every person in my head but a guy got on and i didn't recognize him. He sat in the seat right in front if me and Rachel. "Omg who is he" i said to Rachel. "I don't know but hes really cute." "So ture."

He had silvery white hair and was a little pail but was still cute. He was wherein black skinny jeans a dark blue shirt and a black hoodie with so plain black high tops. I wanted to talk to him and find out who he was but he had headphones on.

"Damn it i want to talk to him" Rachel said to me. "Me to but he has his head phones on" "I dont care im talking to him" she reaches forward and pulls his head phones off. "Rachel whats wrong with you!" i said as his headphones fall off.

He turns around and looks at us. "Can i help you" "im so sorry i don't know whats wrong with her." Rachel pouted as i said that. "Its ok my names  Erick by the way" "I'm Grace" "Hey when we get to school can you help me out with these classes i have no idea where any of them are" he hands me his schedule. "Yeah totally" i grab the schedule and look at it. "I have a lot of these classes so just follow me when we get there" i hand him back his schedule, he smile and puts his headphones back on.

I smiled at Rachel. She glared at me "I saw him first" she said pouting. "Calm down Rach you can have him" i laugh at how childish she is.

The bus gets to school and we get shoved out. I look around for Erick and spotted in the middle of a big crowd of people. We didn't get new people her a lot dip when we did it was a big deal. I shoved my way threw the crowd then grabbed Ericks hand. "Come on" i said pulling him threw the crowd.

When we finally got into the school we ran to our first class to avoid people. He sat in the back and i sat next to him. "Hey you have any plans for spring break" i asked him. "No i have no friends remember" "Well you have me and Rachel you wanna hang out with us?" "uh sure i guess." The hole time we were talking he didn't stop drawing. I wondered what he was drawing. Hes different in a good way. I think, im going to figure out how hes different.

They bell rang and ripped me out of my thoughts. I looked up at the bored and waited for the teacher to come in. Hes always late. Someone finally came into the class room but it wasn't the teacher. It was a student, he came in font of the class and started to talk.
"Good morning fellow students unfortunately your teacher as become very ill and will not being coming back instead..." I just started drifting off and day dreaming. He was so hot he had straight brown hair, beautiful blue eyes, and freckles. Hes so perfect.
Erick shook me pulling me back to reality. "Hey you ok?" he said. I shook my head "uh yeah yeah im fine." I looked back up at the guy. He waved as he walked out the room. "Wait what happened" i asked looking back at Erick. "I guess we're having me teacher i guess" "Oh ok" the bell rang and we went to our next classes. For the rest of the day all i could think about was him.

The final bell rang and everyone rushed out of the class rooms. As i was walking down the hall way someone ran into me making me fall to the floor. "Hey watch it!" "O my god im so sorry" i heard i familiar voice say. I looked up and saw the boy as he reached out to help me up. I grabbed his hand as he helped me up. "Oh uh its ok." "Hey weren't you in that class that i had to talk to this morning?" Omg he noticed me! "Uh yeah" i said trying to act cool "My names Ali by the way" "Mines Brad" we smiled at each other. "Well i got to go I'll see ya later" he said walking away.

I smiled watching him walk away. All the sudden i felt a weight on my back and snapped around quickly. "Come on come on lets go!" Rachel screamed in my ear. She grabbed my arm dragging me down the hallway. We walked to our bus. "Im so excited!" "Oh yeah Ericks coming over to" "O my god! Thats great!" she said with a big smile. i smiled back then looked out the window. all i could think about was Brad. God hes so perfect even his name was perfect! i let my mind wonder till we got to our stop. We hopped off the bus ad went inside. "Im home" i yelled "i brought a new friend and rach over!" My mom walked out smiling. "nice to meet you..." she wanted him to finish her sentence. "Erick" he answered shaking her hand. i smiled and grabbed rachles hand "Well be right back i said with a smile. we walked back to my room and i told her all about brad, "Hes so per..." i was interrupted by a scream. "stay here" i said grabbing a knife from my drawer. i always keep one there for emergency. 

I slowly walked out of my room holding the knife behind my back. i walked into my kitchen and saw my mom laying on the floor. i stared at her in horror as blood made a puddle around her lifeless body. i dropped the knife and ran to her holding her body. all of the sudden i felt a sharp pain in my neck and everything went black. i felt my self slowly slipping into the abyss. i could feel sharp pains in my body but couldn't move. with every pain i went deeper into the abyss. whats happening to me why cant i stop this!
