Chapter 10

After an eventful night I finally got some sleep, but I am dreading what the day ahead brings after the horrid things I experienced last night.

I reach up to my neck and the bite marks have completely vanished like nothing ever happened.

Right on queue in walks Freya with a smug smile on her face.

"I knew there was something special about you the first time you walked into this house." She says

"Do you want to explain what the hell is going on Freya?" I say becoming slightly impatient

She lets out a sigh and comes and sits on my bed.

"Last night you had your first vampire encounter, Rebecca is our sister who was put asleep by Klaus a few years ago due to her disobeying him, so when she awoke she was craving blood and we thought it would be a good test for you because she does not know what you are and you did not know she was a vampire. The test worked because now we know your blood is lethal to vampires, when a vampire gets bitten by a werewolf the only way a vampire can heal is by drinking Klaus's blood. However, a normal werewolf's blood wouldn't kill a vampire if they drank it only if bitten so you see your stronger than any wolf." She explains

"So is Rebecca dead? And why only Klaus's blood?" I want all my questions answered today I am becoming too impatient.

"No she is not, she is an original vampire and so is Klaus and the rest of my brother's, me on the other hand I am just a witch as I did not grow up with the rest of my family so the spell my mother cast to make them into the first ever vampires in existences was not applied to me. And Klaus is a hybrid meaning he is part werewolf and vampire so he is the strongest possible immortal being, well that is until you came along so because he has werewolf blood he can heal vampires" She says smiling

"Wow ok, so how many of you actually are there?" I ask beginning to understand

"There is Klaus, Elijah, Kol, Rebecca, Finn and me. There is also Hope who is Klaus's daughter and Hayley her mother which you have already met." She explains

I think that's enough information for today, my head is going explode.

"So now you know all of that we need to see if you can also heal people with your blood." Freya says

"And how do I do that?" I ask

"Its simple I bite them and you simply heal them with your blood." Klaus says walking in with a big grin on his face

"You make it sound so easy, I do not want anyone to get hurt though." I Say to him

"Everyone is going to get hurt at some point love, I am sure I can find to volunteer." He replies

"Fair enough." I say

He reaches out his hand and pulls me out of bed

"Come on then, let's go hunting little one." He says winking.

Once I get dressed I leave my bedroom and out on to the landing. This house is amazing; it looks so old but yet so intriguing.

"Ah there you are, let's go." Klaus says

"Wait I am so hungry can I at least have breakfast first?" I ask

"Yes, sorry I am just quite excited to see what you can do." Klaus says laughing

"Ah good morning brother." Elijah says walking towards us

"Tilly." He says giving me a little nod

"Morning Mr mysterious." I say with a little giggle.

"I do not know whether to take that a compliment or insult." He says with a serious face but can't contain his smile

I just smile at him and carry on walking to the kitchen.

"My brother enjoys the company of people who aren't afraid of him so keep on like that and you too could be the best of friends." Klaus says laughing whilst making me breakfast.

"I will keep that in mind," I reply
