Arabella
"So, you've come for your monthly check-in," the doctor says, more to himself than anything, as he checks his charts. "And we still have to get a sex. Let's start."
"What, no personal questions this time?" Harry mutters to himself. I slap his arm and toss him a glare.
I love the man but he needs to learn to speak quieter.
Like the last appointments the cool gel is spread all over my abdomen and the ultrasound machine is flicked on. My hand searches for Harry's as the doctor speaks about the health of our daughter.
"Wait," Harry interrupts at the realisation. "Did you say daughter?"
I gasp, my head snapping in the direction of the cheeky doctor. My hands clasp together in delight. "You sly dog!" I squeal. Without thinking I sit up and hug Harry. My hands run through his hair as a paper towel is set on my lap and the doctor leaves. "We're having a girl."
"Since when was I becoming a dad?" Harry asks me teasingly. I shove him away to clean up. He's really in the teasing mood today.
Him and Louis haven't seen each other since I made dinner for everyone last week. The two have hour long conversations over phone every night. He's the happiest when he's around those he loves, and Harry sure does love Lou.
The fact we're having a daughter and our next stop at Lou's apartment defiently has Harold in a good mood.

"Surprise!"
I jump back at the booming yell. All of the people we know are jam packed into the small apartment. Pink decorations litter the place, presents are stacked to the ceiling, food of all kinds are layed out, a thrown with my name on it rests in the middle of everything.
'Congrats On The Baby {Girl}'
The banner is pink and I can't help but think how they knew I was having a girl.
"H-How--?"
"Harry texted us it was a girl so a threw all the pink things up," Lou chirps happily and skips up to me. He pulls me into a warm hug.
I don't think I could have a better family. Related by blood or not, we're all family here.
Presents are tossed my way. I get almost everything I could need. They bought me a crib, a bassinet, bottles, clothes-- anything and everything a newborn should have.
Tears cloud over my vision when a cake is brought out. Harry cuts into it to reveal vanilla ice cream. I bury my face in my hands at the surprise.
I'm loved. Lucky me.
