The Party

I finally got finished with my work and then I heard a loud banging on my office door."Come in." I yelled. My omega who is my best friend named Jared walked in."Jason you need to come see your dad he has gotten better and wants to see you!" He screamed. "Well why didn't you just mind link me!!?!??" I yelled while running down the stairs. My dad and I have always had this special bond. We do a lot of stuff together and he supports me through everything I do. He's like my best friend I don't know what I'd do without my dad and he's always by my side so I like to be by his side.

When we finally got to the packs special Hospital house that is run by Linda our tax doctor. We ran straight to my dad's room without even asking because my dad has been in a coma for six weeks and I wanted to see him. We got there now but it opened the door to see him sitting up laughing and cuddling with my mom she she and Lexie had stopped by to check on him because Mom was worried because the hospital called her about his blood sugar dropping.

" hi son I would like to have a moment with him if you guys don't mind I know I just woke up and everything but this is special." He said. Everyone left the room peacefully without even asking or saying anything I was quite surprised because usually they questioned him.
" Son come over here." He said. " Yes dad?" I asked while pulling up a chair.

"Son I'm proud of you seeing you become Alpha just makes me realize how fast your growing up 16 is a very young age to become an alpha and I know it was hard on you when I got injured. I just wanted to let you know that I feel a lot better now that I woken up and I'm not laying still in the same spot for 6 weeks. I can tell you that I could hear every moment and second of everything that was going on around me, and it may be just wanna jump up and say that I'm listening and I'm here but I couldn't because my body wouldn't let me and I never want you to go through with that so when we have to fight another pack I would like to help you end up at fright and I'm asking your permission to do this because you're the alpha and even though I'm your dad I still have to listen to the packs Alpha and my son is the Pack's Alpha and I'm proud of that. So what do you say, can I fight with the pack when we have to fight?" He asked.
" well Dad you're getting old no offense and you're just recovering from an injury and a coma I don't think you should fight with us I think you should just hold off for a while and get your rest and then after that maybe you could fill in for somebody when they get injured and unable to fight." I said truthfully. "Ok son." he said. " Now go get your mom and everybody else and tell them to come back." He demanded and I rolled my eyes.

I open my eyes to see everybody standing around a birthday cake with the candles lit and a sign saying happy birthday Jason you're finally 17! And everyone screamed "Happy birthday Jason!!!!". " Awe guys you know I don't even like to celebrate my birthday!" I said. "Well you know you can't hide and not celebrate your birthday I mean come on you're turning Seventeen and you're going to find your mate so we can't just not celebrate this birthday it's special to all of us and should be special to you ," Mom said, " please just blow out your candles?" She asked. "Finnee!!" I groaned.

After the doctor said it was okay for my dad to leave he got dressed and so we left the packs hospital and went home. Jared walked up to me and said," Hey the pack it having that party today and all the packs in this area are going to come together and have front and there's also going to be a pool so can we go?" He asked. "Yea I could Use some partying." I said.

Four little bit me and Jared went for a run and then we both took showers to get the stink off so we can get dressed and head to the party. Not meaning of our packs people are going because usually only teenagers come because the adults are too busy.

"You Ready?" Asked Jared. "Yeah I'm ready." I Said. "Ok lets head out!!!!" He screamed. Oh and let me inform you if you haven't noticed kind of by now from the yelling Jared likes to party a lot.

We ran down the steps and headed out both yelling," Bye Mom bye dad!" I know he's is my best friend but he has problems with his family so mostly he spends the night with us for a few weeks or almost like forever and so he just calls my parents mom and dad.

We ran outside and hopped in his black truck while he started the engine and before we could do anything he pulled out of the driveway so quick I almost flew out the car's windshield. " Slow down will you!!!?????" I screamed and he instantly slow down.

We finally reached the party and hopped out the car I could hear the music bumping so hard from blocks away, even though the party is in the woods.

We we walked to the middle of the woods where the party was and an instant smell of vanilla, a homely wood smell, and strawberries. I instantly thought that it was Lexi's smell more stronger but next thing I know she was jumping on my back and we both fell. But it surprised me because the smell was it coming from her and I instantly knew that she wasn't my mate.
