Lexi jumped on my back and we both fell down. And then I realized that she wasn't my mate. "Hey babe so how's it going? Am I your mate?" She asked. "Um.... Remember babe I don't know who my mate it until the full moon fully comes out." I lied. "Oh, I didn't know that." She said with a frown. Gosh I hate lying to her but I had to. "Well anyways lets go party." She said. " Babe before we go to the party I need to use the bathroom but you can go ahead and get some drinks for us I won't take long I promise." I lied again. " Oh, OK baby." She said while running off to go to the table with the drinks.

"OK Jared I need your help." I said as the girl that suddenly was talking to him walked away. "What is it bro?" He asked. " I need you to distract Lexi while I look for my mate, I can since and smell that she is here and I just didn't want to hurt Lexi." I stated. " Oh I could tell from the look in your eyes man." He said. "But how do I distract her?" He asked. "Just tell her you and some of the guys from our pack want to go to the pool and swim and they wanted her to come." I said. "OK man I got you just go find out who your mate is." He said while walking off to go find Lexi.

Lexi's P.O.V

I was standing her waiting for Jason to come back when I heard someone yell my name from behind me. I turned around and realized it was Jared. "Oh, hey." I said to him with a frown. " Hey what's wrong you?" He asked. I have know idea why but he has always called me You in sentences instead of saying my name. "Oh nothing I was just hoping that you were Jason." I lied. "Stop lying to me I can see it in your eyes." He stated. "To tell you the truth I just don't think that I'm his mate...... And I kinda wanted to ask you what he was doing now, because I know he's not using the bathroom." I said. "Well it's not right for me to tell you," He said," I think he should be the one to tell you."

I frowned. "Anyways I came to find you cause me and some of the guys from our pack wanted you to come and swim with us cause we are ready to swim, plus there are some pretty nice looking girls swimming." He said while staring at a girls ass while she was going to swim and I slapped him. "HEY! What was that for?" He yelled." Because you are 17 and you still haven't found your mate!" I yelled back."Maybe I have but she has a boyfriend and doesn't know that she's my mate cause she's 16." He said while looking me in the eyes. " Okayyyy...... well come on let's go swimming!!!! I yelled while dragging him to the lake.

Jason's P.O.V

I followed the scent down a path in the woods and then deeper into the woods. Why would my mate me so far from the party?

I followed the scent everywhere......And then it lead me to a big tree with white flowers in it.
