Wendigo

"So you and Mika are going to the winter formal" Lulu said, "Yeah, who are you going with" I said doing my work, she shrugged her shoulders "I don't know I'm thinking about Mark Thomas" she said, I looked up "Mark Thomas" I said, "Yeah why" she said, "That's Olivia's on again off again boyfriend" I said, "so, Right now their off, and I heard she is going with Theo Warner" Lulu said closing her book.

"Miss Evans and Miss Wolf detention after school" Miss Everhart said, "What" we both said, "Two days worth of detention, do you want three" she said, me and lulu both kept our mouth closed, we didn't want to make three days in a row especially with her.

"During detention All three of you will be cleaning up this mess that the seniors made" Miss Everhart said, "This will take hours if you go slow and decide to talk, if I were you I will want to get out of the school before night falls" she said with a smirk and walked away.

"Mika how did you get detention" I said, "When I stayed after in chemistry, I uh accidentally mixed some chemicals together that caused a small fire" he said, I rolled my eyes at his stupidity, "Well I'm glad, because I didn't have to go to chemistry thanks to your accident" lulu said smiling. "This whole mess is going to take hours to clean up"

"It's been six hours and it is now nine o'clock" I said, "We probably shouldn't of took a snack break" lulu said, "Who am I kidding, food is bae" Lulu said I laughed, when it came to food,
Lulu and Mika were serious about it, food waits for no one.

We laughed for awhile until we heard a roar. "What was that" we all said getting up, our answer was soon answered when a wolf like creature came into the room. A wendigo.

"Run" I said, we all ran into the hall and down it. "In there" mika said. We ran to the door and hoped it wasn't locked, it opened and we went inside the room. We barricade the door with a cabinet the teachers desk and some chairs.

"What the hell was that" Mika said panting, "A Wendigo" me and Lulu said, I looked at her to know how could she of known that. "I'm a guardian" she said, "A guardian" me and mika said. "Yeah your brother sent me to protect you from things like this" she said. "Are you even 16" mika said, we botched looked at him with the most annoyed face anyone can make at him.

"No I'm a 30 year old soccer mom" she said sarcastically, "Of course I'm 16" she said irradiated, "Oh" he said with a weak smile.
I was to shock to even say anything considering the fact that my best friend is actually my guardian. "I'm still your friend, I'm just not a clueless Mundy" she said, I couldn't help but laugh.

"How are we going to get out of here" mika said, "That's not what I'm worried about" I said sitting on the floor. "What are you worried about then" Mika and Lulu said, "How is this Wendigo in it's true form" I said, "It's not a full moon it's a crescent tonight" I said, they looked out the window and at the moon, "Your right" Lulu said

"Maybe it's just a fable that is a wendigo" mika suggested, "I don't know any stories about wendigos that I can think of" Lulu said, "even if it is a fable they wouldn't risk it like that" I said, "So a fable is crossed of the list" Mika said.

"How bout a born wendigo, they can transform when ever they want" Lulu said, "Yeah but they wouldn't be stupid enough to hunt down a bunch of teenagers, even if they are two mundy's and a halfbreed" I said, "How bout a bitten Wendigo" Mika said, "I mean aren't they like Wolf's" he said, "Yeah, but they wouldn't be able to transform on a crescent moon" Lulu said.

"What if its a bitten Wendigo and they are powerful that they can transform on a crescent moon" Lulu said. "I have no idea with the two of you are talking about" mika said, we ignored him.

"It can be possible" I said, but don't think of can happen. "So how are we going to kill this thing with no fire" Lulu said. "Fire" mika mumbled, then said it louder, "Shh, we don't want that thing knowing where we are" Lulu said, "Sorry, but I have a idea" mika said.

"What that's a horrible idea" I said, "Come on just try to make fire with me and Lulu's oxygen" Mika said, "No I could kill you, and it want even work" I said.

"Well you have to try marek" Lulu said, I looked at both of them and sighed, "Fine" I said, "But if you too die, I'm bringing y'all back then kill you again, this time on purpose" I said, they smiled.

I howled and heard a roar in response. "Get ready" I told mika and Lulu. A couple minutes later we saw it. It was standing down the hall, it stared coming towards us slow. I closed my eyes, "you can do this" I thought, I opened my eye's and saw that it was moving faster. I tried to make fire with their oxygen and couldn't. I felt like crying, I felt weak.

"Lulu and Mika are counting on you, their life's are your hands" I thought, I closed my eyes and focused on all times all three of us had a blast. I opened them, I tried again and this time I felt massive oxygen go through me. I cupped my hands together to start the fire.

A little light appeared in my hands, an it became bigger and bigger. I waited for the exact moment that it was close enough.

I aimed the fire ball at it and threw it. When it the wendigo, it was screaming in pain. "Come on" I said to Lulu and Mika. I didn't hear a response, I looked down to see that they were drowsy and weak. "Give us a minute" Mika said breathless.

"So your telling me their was a Cougar in the school" said the detective. "Yeah, it was big and was a blackish grayish colour" Mika said. "I guess that would explain the claws and teeth marks on the body" he said, "The body" all three of us said, "Yeah, a Rachel Everhart, you knew her" he asked, "She i- was our history teacher" Lulu said, "Well I'm sorry, and you kids take care* he said.

"Both of you get some rest and eat candy to keep your blood sugar up" I said, "And at 8 tomorrow meet !e at the business office" I said. We have work to do.
