“Daughter it’s time for you to get up it’s your first day of school,” I turned over and I heard laughing, “Coda have at it maybe you can get her up, also would you like anything to eat?” I heard laughing, “I would love some coffee,” I heard footsteps going down the stairs; I laid there and kept my eyes closed. I felt Coda plop down on the bed next to me and kiss my forehead, “Wake up Babe we have two hours before school starts.” I opened my eyes and kissed him on the lips, “Can you be my wakeup call every morning.” He smiled and stood, he left the room and I stretched out on my bed. I got up and walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower, I washed my hair and then when I finished I turned off the water. I wrapped a towel around me and put my hair into a bun; I walked out and put on my bra and underwear. I looked in my boxes throw and pulled out a sapphire blue, long, skirt and put it on. I walked to my closet and pulled out a white shirt and took my hair out of the tight bun and put it into two pony tails. I opened another box and pulled out some make-up supplies. I applied some light purple eye shadow and then carefully put on black liquid eye liner on my top lid. I grabbed my mascara and added just enough to make my eyes pop; I pulled out my black eye liner pencil and put a little on my bottom lid. I grabbed my only sensible brown cow girl boots, and looked at myself in the mirror I smiled and then walked to the door and opened it; I skipped down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. My mom smiled, “You look amazing sweet heart, “I looked at Coda who was just sitting there staring at me, “Yes?” His smile lite up my face and I blushed back, “I got you a little gift, almost a welcoming gift.” He grabbed my hand and walked me outside, “So what is this gift you have for me?” We walked down the stairs and he put me infront of him and whispered in my ear, “Close your eyes babe.” I closed my eyes and he lead me a far ways, “Are we almost there?” I felt him leave my side, “Coda? Coda where are you?” I turned around, “Sara keep your eyes closed I am fine see,” He grabbed my hand and pulled me into his arms, we continued to walk and then we stopped, “Open your eyes beautiful.” I opened my eyes and saw Bella in a painted barn with the letters Bella over the stall, “She is yours I told your parents what you did with her yesterday and they told me you could have her.” I wrapped my arms around Coda and felt tears fall, no I will not cry. I stepped back and he whipped my tears away, “Why are you crying do you not like her?” I grabbed his hand, “No I love her it’s just…” He looked concerned, “It’s just what?” I kissed his lips, “It’s just no guy has ever done this for me,” he pulled my body onto his, “well they were very stupid to not treat you like a princess.” I grabbed his hand and walked him back to the house. My parents were smiling, “Thanks for the horse,” Coda gasped and grabbed two apples, “Mr. and Mrs. Jones we most go or we will be late for the first day of school.” He looked at me and grabbed my purse carrying it outside, I tried to take it from him but he wouldn’t give it to me. I rolled my eyes and looked around for a car, “How are we getting to school,” He smiled and headed towards the barn, “The best way is horse back, I didn’t bring a saddle for Bella.” I smiled, “I don’t like saddles anyway,” I winked and hugged him, but I grabbed my purse and ran into the barn and opened Bella’s stall.

I grabbed her reins and pulled her out and looked at Coda, “Will you give me a boost?” He smiled and grabbed my leg lifting me onto Bella’s back I sat sideways so that my skirt wouldn’t get dirty. I kicked her and she trotted out of the barn, I stopped her and looked back at Coda who was coming up behind me. I kicked Bella and she took off at a slow trot, Coda came up next to me, “Ok I found out from my friend that they cleared the trees, so no jumping this time.” I turned and gave him a small pouty face, “Aww ok,” He smiled and I kicked Bella who went to a slow gallop. We turned onto the path and I kicked harder sending her to a fast gallop. We raced up over the hill, “How are you doing babe?” I smiled and looked back, “I am doing great but I am a little nervous for school,” He laughed, “You’re a big girl you will do fine plus you have me,” I laughed and kicked Bella again sending her to a canter, it was hard keeping hold on her back but I did. We were approaching the school when I heard Coda’s voice, “There is stables we can leave the horses at, follow me.” He cantered infront of me and I followed closely behind. The big blue stables came into view I watched a few other people trotting there horses into the stables. Coda pulled Stella to a soft trot and so I pulled Bella’s reins back and she fell to a soft trot. Coda went in first followed by me; he jumped off Stella and walked her into a stall. He then came out and walked Bella into the stall next to Stella. I sat on Bella’s back until Coda came to the side and I slide off into his arms. He tossed me an apple and I held it out for Bella, she graciously ate it and I gave her a pat on the shoulder, “You are mine now Bella and I love you,” I kissed her head and she neighed loud and proud. I walked out of the stall and shut the door, “You ready to go now babe,” I nodded and he took my hand. We walked out and he pulled me close and I sighed.
