Cody: Hey Haylee, how you holding up? Haylee: Better than when y'all first found me. Cody: So what happened to Matt and everyone else? Haylee: I don't remember exactly what happened. All that I remember is that some dude ran into the house with a gun and he hit the side of my head with the bottom of his shotgun. Cody: Well, I'm just glad we found you when we did. If we didn't come along through there, you would've been dead by now. I'm just glad you're safe now. Haylee: Me too. Cody: I'll be right back. Haylee: Ok. (Cody walks into the kitchen area where Tyler and Nate were talking) Cody: Hey guys, Haylee is doing a lot better, but she can't remember what happened to Matt or the rest of her family. Tyler: Well, at least she's doing better. Nate: Yeah. (Then we all here knocking on the front door) Cody: what was that? Tyler: I don't know. Cody: Nate, take Haylee to the back. Nate: Will do. (Cody and Tyler go to the door with their guns drawn. Cody opens the door slightly) Cody: Who are you and what do you want? ???: My name is Asa Martin and this is my brother Aubrey Martin. We're just looking for shelter, we've travelled all the way from Crestview, Florida. Cody: Aubrey and Asa... Where's Athan? Asa: how did you know my younger brother's name? (Cody opens the door all the way) Cody: Because I'm Cody Lewis. Do you remember me? Asa: Yeah!! You're the reason we came down here. We came to find you. Cody: Well, come on in guys!! Hey Nate, y'all can come out now. Let me introduce y'all to everyone, that guy over there is Patrick, that's Nate and Haylee, that's Tyler, and Sam isn't here at the moment though. Well, what have y'all been up to and what happened to y'all's dad and to Athan? Aubrey: They all got killed when the outbreak started. Cody: Damn, I'm sorry you two had to go through that. Asa: Can we stay the night? We don't have anywhere to go. Tyler: stay as long as y'all want to. I'm fine with it. Asa and Aubrey: thanks guys. Tyler: Welcome. So, how do you know Cody? Asa: Oh man, all three of us go way back. We lived across the street from him for a while and he would be over at our house all the time, literally!! We're more like brothers than my actual brothers!! Tyler: And what about you Aubrey? Aubrey: Same as my brother's story. Cody is probably the only person that understood me before the T-virus was released. Me and Cody are brothers in my opinion. Cody: Hell yeah!! Those two aren't like my brothers, they are brothers to me!! Nate: Now that's what you call friendship!! Cody: Well, sorry that we can't give y'all a bigger welcome, but we were about to head out and find a new place to camp. We need more space after what happened the other night. Aubrey: What happened the other night? Cody: We got surrounded by hundreds of them damn things. Tyler: Yeah, I'm surprised that we held them off as long as we did. So Aubrey, how much do you know about these zombies? Aubrey: Enough to make it all the way from east Florida to northwest Alabama. Cody: Yeah, he practically taught me everything I know. (Sam enters) Sam: Hey... Who are they? Tyler: They're just some of Cody's old friends. Sam: Oh cool. My name is Sam by the way. Aubrey: Hi, I'm Aubrey and this is my brother Asa. Cody: So Sam, did you find anything? Sam: Yeah, it's perfect, but if we're going we need to go now before it gets dark. Nate: let's do it!! Cody: First, do y'all have any weapons on you? Aubrey: yeah it's outside. Cody: Why? Tyler: Cody!! Come check this out!! Hurry!! (Cody and Aubrey rush outside) Cody: whoa!! How did y'all get that all the way here?!?! Aubrey: Wasn't that hard. (Turns out the weapon Aubrey was talking about was a tricked out, apocalypse proof, 69 Dodge Charger R/T) Cody: Is that what I think it is? Aubrey: Yep, 69 Charger My style. Cody: Can I drive it to our new camp? Aubrey: Sure. Cody: Alright bet!!
