For what seemed like hours, the only noise was the rumbling of the car, and mumbled guitar riffs coming from the speakers. We eventually came to an looking house, and Sam and Dean walked up like it was home.
"Dean? What is this place, and why aren't you wary of what could be inside?" I asked nervously.
"Just shut up and stay between me and Sam. We know what we're doing," he replied.
They didn't have their guns out, so I figured it was safe.
I stood behind Dean as we walked in the house, floorboards creaking.
Inside the building was actually fairly nice. The old wallpaper was peeling, and there were dust and books everywhere, but there weren't any bugs or weird stains anywhere, unlike what I expected.
"Bobby?" Dean called out. "You here?"
An unfamiliar voice called out, deep and husky.
"Yeah, I'm here ya idjits,"
Smiles instantly eased onto Sam and Dean's faces as a man walked into the entrance. He was wearing old jeans, a long-sleeved shirt, a poofy vest, and a grimy baseball cap. I assumed this was Bobby.
Sam walked up to Bobby and gave him a reassuring hug, still smiling.
"So who's the girl?" Bobby asked suddenly.
"Oh, I'm-" I started, but I was cut off by Dean. I felt my face flushing with aggravation.
"This here is (Y/N). We found her stealin' that job you gave us up in Colorado. She's also part of Yelloweyes' 'army', just like our buddy Sammy here," Dean said as he pointed to Sam with a sarcastic smile on his face.
"Pleasure to meet you, (Y/N). But what's this about a demon's army?" Bobby questioned.
Dean was next to talk.
"Why don't you enlighten Bobby here on your duty, Sam?"
Sam looked toward the dusty floor, with a frown placed on his face.
He cleared his throat and said,"Well, here's the thing, I don't know much about what my 'duty' is," he put air quotes around 'duty' as he spoke. "But, I do know that there's plenty other things to talk about, like why (Y/N) and I are so special."
Dean glared at me, and I blushed.
I spoke next.
"A-All I know is that I somehow have some certain 'power', and I can hear some dumb demon in my head,"
"Wait, what?" Dean asked/yelled. "Powers?"
Sam looked at me with wide eyes, as if he were trying to read my mind.
"I-I have powers too!" Sam exclaimed.
"Woah, woah, woah. Hold your horses, everyone," Bobby grumbled. "Let's grab a beer and we can sit down, and figure this all out."
