*This is a short filler, to explain the story line more. The next couple will be like this. They will all be called "The New Neighborhood", and they will all explain the changes in the neighborhood up until the present.*

(Y/N's P.O.V)

Today was the worst day of my life. I have to move. All the way to Ohio. All my friends will be here in California and I'll be in Ohio. I know, I'm only 7 and I'm sounding like I won't ever make friends again. I know I'll make more friends, but mine here in California are like family to me. This sucks.

To make it even worse, we're driving. That means a 36 hour road trip. Could be worse though I guess.

Well, I've arrived in my neighborhood, and it's a cul de sac, so no traffic. It looks like there is only one other person that lives here. But that makes sense since it's a pretty new neighborhood. Hopefully they're my age. I'll go over and meet them when I'm done unpacking. At least my parents bought a house with a big enough basement that me and my sister, Melanie, can have a studio for her singing and I can have a room for my drums.

That was the first thing I did, set up my drums with my dad, which took an overwhelming 3 hours. There was a time where my mom came downstairs and asked if I was hungry, which we, regrettably, responded with "No".

Even though I was tired enough, after the hassle of setting up my drums, my dad and I went to set up my bed. Also, it's a loft bed. Fun, fun, fun.

The bed took another 2 hours, and we still haven't eaten. One more thing to set up, then I'll eat. Might as well tackle the big things first and get them out of the way.

Good thing is, it's only 3 p.m so it's still a reasonable time to visit those neighbors.

I walked out the door towards the neighbors, who lived in the brick house next to us. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

A couple seconds later, a kid about my age opened the door.

"Hi! You must be the new neighbors moving in next door?"

"Yep! I'm (Y/N)! You are?" I asked.

"Tyler!" he giggled, "Tyler Joseph!"

"Tyler, honey? Who's at the door?", I heard a feminine voice say from inside the house.

"It's the new neighbor mom!" he responded back, facing away from me and more towards the inside of his house.

"Oh!" she said, and I heard approaching footsteps, and she then reached the door, "Hi! I'm Tyler's mom, Kelly."

"Hi! I'm (Y/N)!" I responded cheerfully, smiling at Tyler's mom.

"How old are you, by chance?" she asked me.

"7."

"Me too!" Tyler shouted, smiling at me, "We're gonna be best friends!"

"Yeah we will!" I smiled.

'Maybe I will make new friends here' I thought to myself as Tyler and I ran out of the door to go play in his backyard.
