We walked into Ryder's house with Dean. Soon afterwards I realized we didn't have our own rooms, sure I was staying in the all-black room, but can I really call that my own? And from the looks of it, it looked like we would be staying here for a while.

Right when we walked through the door, I headed into the kitchen. Ryder, David and Dean followed me. I grabbed some things to make a sandwich for myself. I turned around and saw Ryder looking at me weird.

"We just ate" He stated.

"So" I answered.

"Nothing, nothing" He said murmuring and shaking his head.

I just shrugged and continued making myself a sandwich.

"That reminds me" Ryder said, "I've set up a couple of rooms for you and David to stay in."

"Ohhh really? Bella are we going to stay here?" David asked me.

"We might for a while, okay?" I answered.

David shrugged and followed Ryder to what I assume are our rooms. I quickly finished my sandwich and followed them. We went up to the second floor and walked down the hallway. How did he manage to set up two rooms when I was with him the entire time? I asked myself. We passed many doors on the way down the hallway and Ryder opened the two doors at the end of it, the two rooms we didn't enter while he was showing me around the house. I walked into what he said was my room. How much money does this guy have? The room was huge, with giant bay windows, and a few decorations around. The walls were painted shades of blue and gray, and one wall there was a bookshelf with tons of books. Peeking into David's room I realized that his room was just as big. I didn't realizes I was gaping until Dean pointed it out. I blushed and turned away.

I walked to the closet and opened it. It was filled with clothes. I heard someone come up behind me, and I turned around. Ryder was there, smiling at me.

"I didn't think you liked shopping so I got you some clothes, mostly black? Right?"

I nodded my head, I only wore a lot of black because my fake father came home drunk one night and I was wearing red he looked at me and said, "Ew don't wear color, you wanna look big girl? You always wear black." Then slapped me, which is why It have learned to always wear black. That was the only time he slapped me.

I reached out and pulled Ryder in for a hug. It was really thoughtful of him to go through all this trouble for me and David.
"Thank you!" I said smiling into chest. I turned back around to admire my new room. Dean was lying on my bed with his eyes closed. Trying to hold my laughter in I snuck up to him to try push him off. I pushed him off and couldn't contain my laughter anymore, behind me, I could hear Ryder laughing along with me.
"What the heck man, don't laugh at me." Dean said, rising from the floor. He chucked a pillow at him, but missed terribly, causing me to again, burst out with laughter.
"And you..." Dean said turning to.
"This is your fault." He said as I was still laughing, but stopped when I realized he was coming closer. My eyes widened and I started backing up, soon I was darting away from the room, but on the way out I accidentally stepped on Ryder's foot. I glanced back for a split second and saw Ryder lying on the ground clutching his foot. And again I found my myself laughing, which distracted me from my running away, causing me to trip and fall from a crease from the carpet.

I hissed in pain as I lifted my arm up to see the damage. It was already starting to swell and bruise and there was a huge carpet burn on half my arm. There was a deep scratch from my shoulder to my elbow. By this time David has come out of his room to see what's going on, and Dean runs to my side, playful smile completely gone.

"Ouch, that looks like it hurts, are you okay Bella?" Dean asked. I nodded my head, scared that if I opened my mouth to speak the tears of pain might start flowing. I put on a tough face, even if it was for David, who now was by my side, someone he knew well needed to stay strong for him, now that his whole world was changing. Dean saw right through my mask and hugged me tightly. I did not expect that and my cheeks turned a light rose shade. Dean saw that too and chuckled quietly at me, causing me small blush to deepen to a dark red.

Just then Ryder came running up the stairs with a first aid kit in his hand. His face softened when his eyes landed on my arm. I most look pretty nasty by now.
"Are you alright Bella?" He asked kneeling down to where I sat on the floor to try and clean up a little, I gladly stuck my arm out, anything to help with the pain.
"Yea I'm fine, I just tripped." I answered.
"Would you like me to kiss it better?" David asked, asking the question our "mom" asked him when he got a scratch.
"No, I think I'm fine Dav." I answered, calling him by my nickname for him.

Once my arm had many bandages around it, I realized it was already David's bedtime, so I said goodnight and tucked him in.

"Bella, would you come down here, I need to show and talk to you about something." Ryder said in a whisper yell from downstairs knowing that David was asleep.
"Yea sure, I'll be down there in a minute." I said heading downstairs.

"Now that Dean is asleep, I want to show you something." He said going to the pantry.
"What, how to make cookies?" I joked, because honestly, I had no idea why he was taking me to the pantry.
I glanced at him and saw that he was glaring at me for my terrible joke.
"What? I thought that was funny." I mumbled, almost to myself.
He raised his eyebrow and was about to question when he just shook his head and decided to leave it alone.

We reached the pantry door and he got down on his knees as if searching for... something.

"Found it!" He said, and I hear a click.
"What's that?" I ask, and he looks at me.
"A trapdoor." He answered.
