"So you and David..." I had asked Amanda to walk the property with me, and so far things were awkward... Very awkward. "Gavin, saw didn't he..." I nodded, she had been looking at the ground this entire time, but now looked up at me with tears welling in her eyes "oh, Mandy..." I pulled her into a hug "I don't know what's happening... I mean he's a doctor in foreign countries... And I'm a lawyer in foreign countries... But we're never in the same countries..." "You do realize, that you both were just running away from each other... Right?" "Ok, so I ran in the beginning... But now I enjoy it... Like a lot, Hill"
"What are your intentions for my sister" I had cornered David, and I wouldn't stop until I got an answer. "Intentions... Oh... I don't want to hurt her" "you realize that after this weekend, she's supposed to go back to South America... And your going where ever you have to go" "hill... I ran from her and what we had once before... I don't want to do that anymore..." He started to act serious, and that was a little unsettling, because he's always a jokester. "What are you saying?" "I'll go where ever she goes... There's always a need for a doctor... And I have colleagues all over the world" "you would do that... For Amanda?" "Well yeah... I.." He looked at the ground blushing a little "I love her, Hill... I really do... Just like you love Gavin... Something I've never really understood... But I get it..."
I drove back into the city to sit in my bakery, that was almost complete. I was sitting on the floor in the kitchen, drinking an ale. "How you feeling?" Gavin asked "David says he loves her..." "Yeah" he sat down next to me "how come they seem to have it figured out and we don't" "Hillary, they ran away from each other..." "And what exactly is it called that I did?" He snickered a little kissing my hand "I think we have it figured out a little bit more than them" "and what makes you think that?" "Because we made this happen, we made our relationship get back together... We had to tell them to go back to each other" "they wanted our permission" "maybe... Or maybe we're just better at it than them" "well I guess we are pretty good at everything" "exactly" we kissed and it was a kiss of relief, a kiss that said drama wasn't going to hold us down anymore.

2 months later
"Are you ready?" His voice was shaky through the phone, which I thought was adorable "calm down... Remember if I run away were still married" I joked "that's not helping me Hill" I could hear the smile in his voice though, which I knew was help enough. "I promise to walk down the aisle and marry you again" "promise?" "Promise... And you are ridiculous" "just stop the yapping and come marry me again" I hung up the phone, looking out at him standing there in the middle of his parents yard, I stood behind the French doors, ready to walk out there and marry him again. "Are you sure you want to do this again?" Amanda asked taking my arm "yes I'm sure" "then let's walk down that aisle" there we stood, Amelia tearing up as she saw us walk "where are you going on your honey moon?" I asked her "Africa... Neither of us have been, so who knows it may turn into a lifetime instead of a few weeks." "What about you?" "We rented a house, at the seaside..." Coming up to the aisle lined with rose petals, both sides full of people we love and care about... "Let's get married" I whispered as I handed her off to David and Gavin took me... I never imagined a double wedding... A few months ago if you would of told me I would be remarrying Gavin, I would of called a mental health specialist for you... But I suppose anything can happen when it feels like London has lashed out at you... And anything really can happen when you finally realized that it was you who lashed out on really only yourself.

A few months later
"Come on Gavin pick up the pace" "Hillary I only run, for you" "yeah and now I'm saying pick up the pace" "Evan slow down" I yelled, as our little son was full of energy and had been jumping off the walls of our new house. "He's too fast" "you could be faster" "I'm working on it" "you told me that 4 months ago" "it takes a lot of time" "uh huh" "chill hill, I only run for you" "come on slow poke" I jumped back into the run, trying to force Gavin to speed up... This was how it was supposed to be... It really is, a great life, great food, great family. Even if the ways we get there may be a little unconventional.
