Step by step

I took the first step looking for dirt that looked like it was recently moved which was almost impossible. We all followed each others foot steps.

I almost took a wrong step and would of got blown to bits but Kronner grabbed my shoulder. I remembered that this land mine field was incomplete and that there could be Germans in this field.

I gripped my gun and pulled it up. I heard movement to the east and stopped moving. I heard two Germans talking when they started to move they we're going to the pile of deactivated land mines but that's when I heard the click and within a second a explosion erupeted from the ground.
