"Everybody has a chapter they don't read out loud." -
I got up from the bed and stretched out.
"What a bad dream." I yawn and swung my legs off the bed. But why does my head hurt like someone has played football with it? And why does my body feels so weird?
I somehow reached for the bed light and turned it on, slowly my eyes getting adjusted to the surroundings.
"I guess it was not a dream." I murmur to myself, and I am still stunned by the fact that am wearing a white t-shirt and my panties but my bra is missing.
I hope this changing is not done by Alex.
The bedroom is pretty big for just one person and the decorations are very modern and sleek.
Opposite the bed, there is a big glass window, I walked over the window and rested my face on it. I can see the whole area from this window. Before the house there is a big mass of green land and there's a fountain in between the whole green. The grass must be soft, very soft.
I can't go out in the haunt of Alex half naked. Can I?
And then a sudden noise startles me, almost made me jump out of the window. My heart was beating hard and now sweats are dripping from my head. I went out of the room, inspecting the whole place. This place is like a maze. And where's Alex?
I follow the noise reaching for its source. Each step I take clears the noise, they are like glass are being shattered into pieces. Man, I am getting goosebumps.
I was walking through the corridor when I came across a room whose door was slightly opened and faded lights are coming out of the room, slightly lighting the dark corridor.
I hope no murderer is waiting at the end of the corridor with a knife.
I open the door and peeked through the open space only to find a silhouetted figure standing dominantly in the middle of the room, and it's throwing stuffs everywhere. The room is a complete mess now.
Alex is horribly drunk and he's gone insane!
I open the door to get in, the hinges of the door making that irritable noise. I hate you door!
I walk through the room carefully because the floor is almost covered with broken furnitures, broken glasses and other stuffs.
I somehow reached him and stood behind him, he was panting hard and a liquor bottle was smashed on the mirror right across where we are now standing.
"Alex, are you okay?" I said and placed my cold hand on his overly warm broad shoulder.
He turned and stared at me for a while and then sighed. And my lord he's eyes were so dilated that I couldn't even make out the color of his eyes, as if he's iris suddenly disappeared.
"You shouldn't be here." He said and shoved his hands through his hair.
I went closer and embraced him in a warm hug, I could feel his breathing getting quickened as his chest rose up and down but then wrapped his hands tightly around my body.
"I know but you brought me here." I said trying to bring some humor into the silent.
"This is not funny, Evelyn." He whispered in my ears and then brought his lips on mine, still holding me and started kissing me, a slow and wet one. But this time, I don't know for what 'god knows reason', I kissed him back with the same passion he has for kissing me. I don't know why being in his arms feels like home.
